  1. None of that matters when they want to play all those extra Canadians anyway. Like there is no forcing them to have as many Canadians out as they do, that's a choice they are making
  2. Hey it's no joke, that was the main feeder for drinking water to the city that burst. There's a real chance of a water shortage if usage doesn't drop before it's repaired. They obviously meant qb but tsn are morons
  3. You want to come out throwing and keep pushing the ball downfield, but this is just hilariously petty on the als part. Your opponent at that point has basically given up and you gotta throw in a flea flicker. But good job als, you got a win in week one.
  4. Can we roll our eyes at the als pulling out a flea flicker late in game one when they're already cruising to a victory? Were they trying to win the cup in June?
  5. His finger hooked a bit of the mask on the way down. So technically you can call it a face mask but it was a 10 ply soft call
  6. Haba too. Refs definitely sucked.
  7. Als have had the stupid signs to hide their signals for a long time now. It's stupid.
  8. They stopped the als for the most part, but o and teams were determined to give it all away
  9. Making the game worse for stats reason while not even being able to generate stats properly. Good job cfl
  10. I saw some of that on D to start the game, but their will was killed with the offense doing less than nothing. That's what made Grant good. He just caught the ball and went. Hesitate at this level and guys are just going to tee off on you.
  11. If you are going to lose it's better to completely crap your pants because there's nowhere to hide and no excuses. You got beaten and embarrassed, need to be better top down
  12. They tried, but when you can't complete a pass you don't have a lot of hope Collaros was 1 for 8 passing to start the game. That won't cut it at all
  13. Forget the fumble, Mitchell just seemed totally unaware of how to actually track the ball after it left the punters foot and was scrambling to get to the right part of the field.
  14. Can't run the ball when you can't stay on the field.
  15. I mean on the replay his hand came down across the face mask so technically correct.... but soft as baby **** none the less. That dirt bag ankle roll was bad though, karma took care of that at least.
  16. I don't agree with that at all, plenty of people calling out collaros. But you can't deny that the whole group was out of sync last night.
  17. Maybe the off balance just counteracts his usual ducks?
  18. Sometimes it's ok to just smash the ball at the other team... that's what works for Oliveira. Just wear them down. The key for all of it though is to stay on the field and allow it to take a toll. It's also a long term thing where eventually he's going to pass and everyone will in theory be looking for the run.
  19. You are hell bent on downplaying the factor that not playing 90% of the starting offense at all in preseason has.... I mean did guys like Oliveira or Demski even get a week of camp time? The O was a mess and it wasn't just because Collaros had a terrible night.
  20. Seriously? Haba was causing problems for the als all night... he was really good, hands up high penalty aside he was one of the brightest spots on the team.
  21. Guarantee that Wade Miller isn't going to be happy with the performance they have the fans. So hopefully he goes down and kicks some asses over this.
  22. I don't think the OL was all that awful, Collaros when he's bad tends to make them look worse than they are by doing nothing with the ball but staring hopelessly downfield.
  23. I'm OK with letting Brown go if Streveler is the guy to take the reigns. Either way it's incumbent on the coaches to realize when Zach needs some sideline time. WHen he's in a funk he rarely pulls himself out of it anymore.
  24. Ford had some ups and downs but I suspect time will be very kind to him as the year goes on. Defense was mostly pretty solid until the end when they just gave up because it was clear the offense was never going to to anything to get back into it. Mitchell had a nice opening return then fumbled and just completely went walkabout for the rest of the game. If you do one thing as a returner just field the kick cleanly, he couldn't even get under the kicks as the game went on. Fail. Offense... what a load of crap. Better to be punched in the mouth now than when it's too late.
  25. oh he will be better than tonight. He was not even in the right time zone on most of his throws. That will be better and they will make some plays as the rust comes off (and it wasn't just him, Schoen, Demski, Lawler, Wolitarsky... did any of those guys actually play in preseason? They all looks largely like ****). The things that concern me about Collaros is that he came in and made hay on the intermediate routes but teams are not giving him that and he sucks at short throws and he doesn't seem to be as accurate on the longer throws as he used to be. I have maintained that the key for this year is lots of Streveler to take some pressure off Collaros. I understand why they gave Collaros time tonight to get over it... but going forward we need to let Streveler pass too because it's better for the offense as a whole. the quarterbacking was so bad tonight it sucked the life completely out of the whole team.
