It's the CFL man, it can change in a heart beat. a month ago Rider fans were on the verge of a revolt and were pretty much ready to run Chris Jones out of town on a rail. All of a sudden it's happy fun times in that province. Starts with one game at a time. Come back from the bye and beat Montreal then you're not on a 4 game losing skid anymore, you're on a 1 game winning streak. Then you worry about sneaking out a win in Edmonton, and contrary to popular belief the Esks are not unbeatable. Do that and you're on a 2 game winning streak Pull that off and you're back to .500. It's not the craziest thing in the world. Then they have a very beatable RIder team and after the way the Riders acted this past weekend I would expect a very motivated Bomber team. Things are not as dire as they seem, just gotta clean up mistakes and remove Lapos head from his ass and they can get back to winning some games.

If Winnipeg wins they remain ahead of teams, it's that simple. That's how "controlling their own destiny" works.

Well the receivers I agree, Walters needs to up his game there, but the backup for Leggett was Fenner, not a bad option, though he got hurt in the game too right? Based on the one game Gaitor did fine filling in as well. Wild was replaced by Santos-Knox in the long run which worked out well. Honestly this teams depth is fine, but you can't lose multiple people at one position as any team without feeling it. The problem on this team is and always has been the coordinators, but I have faith that they will be changed this offseason.

Oh please, we can still make the playoffs in the west. The Riders offense sucks with Collaros and it doesn't get better if he's concussed again and out for any time. You can't rely on the defense scoring several touchdowns a game for you forever, you might get on a run for a while but it won't last. Neither is Edmonton so far ahead. Lot of defeatists here but there's plenty of time left in this season and plenty of wins left for us to get.

I mean we all thought it would get better firing tired old Dave Ritchie and his outdated thinking, or mediocre Doug Berry and his average results, but surely going from Lapo to hot shot coordinator Tim Burke would fix everything! So forgive me if I don't buy into this crap that it's going to get better firing a coach or GM. We've been doing that for years and it's not gotten us a Grey Cup. This regime is the closest thing to consistency we've had in almost 2 decades. I am willing to give Walters and O'Shea more time to fix this.

No one is getting fired until seasons end, and it will be a coordinator, maybe 2. I have said for a while that I think this is Halls final year regardless but man lapo needs to be fired first. Hopefully they turf him. Not only is he offensive coordinator but also receivers coach, which just happens to be the biggest problem area on the team.

He's already ruining one country, probably figures that **** is easy so he'll go for the double. I can't wait for the footage of him being dragged away in cuffs.

Well we lack talent at american receiver for one thing... I like Thompkins but other than him we haven't really recruited anyone in the years Walters has been here. That has to change. Considering how long they've been here we haven't seen enough talent come from the states. FA and drafting yeah he's done well there but scouting? Needs improvement.

Stegall, Bruce, Jones, Roberts, Sellers... easy to run that offense.

It'll be the same kind of plays they always use. This isn't Lapos first time running an offense in the CFL, it's not even his first time in this city, this is go #3 in Winnipeg for Lapo and it's the same **** he was running in 2002, except without Milt Stegall to make it work better. Lapo won't turn Streveler into the next great qb, we need to fire Lapo to take that step.
