I'd put Houston in for Vaval next week. Let Vaval return and maybe play a little D. That out behind him is Sask's only consistent play in this game. He's so locked in on his guy that he's not reacting to the ball if it's not to his guy.
He should have about 3 picks/knockdowns in this game already.
Vaval has no understanding of where his teammates are. He's chasing routes that the QB can't possibly throw because there's a Bomber underneath it. If he holds his ground that out route isn't there because he's underneath it so Harris either has to put the ball up for grabs or pull it down based on his playside reads both being blanketed.
Point is he's never going to be healthy again and he's trying to prolong his career. Wasn't what he was 3 years ago but still second highest YPG on the team for receivers.
Our 3 most efficient offensive games on the season he's out there.
Happens all the time. Surgery has the long recovery. Gavin Walls played almost half a season braced. Schoen had that big brace on. Trying to make it through this season then deal with it in off-season and probably miss a lot of next season.
