If Person isn't taking 1/3 of Willie's reps right from the get-go I'll be really disappointed. Need to get Willie rolling and that means fewer reps. He's awful when he's playing 90%. Vaughters has more motor, he can handle reps in all situations and kick inside more regularly.

He played under 30 snaps at receiver last year. He was targeted twice. He was on as returner. Most reps in Toronto the game when they got stuffed on 3rd and short in range to kick winning FG. He's 5'10 with giant hands. Mitchell is 6'1 and has 1/4 inch smaller hands. Better 40, better shuttle, better bench. You watch how South Dakota used him, all levels, but especially for vertical shots. Lined up all over, see him winning on every single type of route. Everything on Case is about how he competes. Everything on Mitchell says "lacks focus, discipline, doesn't play fast, concern with maturity level, too many focus drops, non-factor as a blocker." We need some reliability honestly. Demski can't be the go to guy. Be nice to see Wheatfall step up, and given the opportunity to get more touches at all levels. Clercius is what he is. If he's getting double digit targets we're probably ******. Nice release valve, 5th target. Get some YAC, screen game going along with the vertical shots. I don't see anyone close to the limit number + $400,000. Look at Edmonton's receivers, secondary aside from Ford, OL, their 3 QB's make less than Collaros. They aren't at that number. Hamilton signed a bunch of guys who had played in the CFL, most of them had basically no market aside from Lawler.

The biggest issue with Ford is he can’t throw the ball fast enough to be accurate at this level. But you can give him a lot more room to work with by running a committed RPO scheme. Then it’s a matter of if he can take the punishment of running more/always being the decoy.

I think beating VA is actually really simple. Just have to move him off his first read. Can do that different ways. Bombers absolutely carved him up dropping 8-9 in coverage the past two seasons. We got killed in last game by a couple contested catches and our own turnovers. Sask plays a really predictable and soft Cover 3 shell and if they can't get any pressure with 4 you can call Matt Dunigan and tell him he needs to worry about his record.

My 2 cents... The league got bogged down in logistics for Calgary and completely forgot about the fans. How they handled this was completely ridiculous. They've significant shortened how long they will delay games for thunderstorms, but an air quality delay can be indefinite? Policy should be the call is made based on the numbers 1 hour before the game. At the latest. 1.5-2 hours would be more reasonable. If they want, have the decision made in consultation with public health in the city or someone like that. The CFL can't seem to figure out their own parameters on what is safe or not, or whether it's Labour Day and we can't cancel or not. Take the decision out of their/TSN's hands then. Need to have some respect for the health, safety and time of the customers.
