I look at it basically like the escrow deal the big 4 leagues have with revenue sharing. The payout is that money back based on league revenue in 2024. But like you said there's no guarantee that continues in 2025 so it's not really a linear "money added to league salaries" for 2025. It's bizarre that the CBA has no structure for how it's distributed.

I don't think Terry Wilson is the guy to develop. Even NCAA he's got like a 6 yard average for pass depth. He hasn't shown any different up here. He's point guard style spread QB. No ability to hit windows and go vertical. Maybe you develop quick game for him but he doesn't get it out quick yet, hasn't developed that yet at this level anyways. So far what we've seen is "hold it, hold it, check it down." I'm not really sure why he's still here other than he's still on the rookie deal vs a guy like Patterson or Dolegala. The development guy here as a passer is Artopoeus. But he's a first year pro.

Cover the receiver.

Person, Adams, Ayers, dress Woodbey and have him play as a 3-4 style rush end. Call back Webb or Brandon Wright. Bring in someone that was cut somewhere else. Really don't see any of these options being more useless than Jefferson has been so far this year. A warm body with a moderate understanding of their assignment and a willingness to battle could not possibly be any worse. Maybe he has something left to tap into. Looks tapped out though. Doesn't seem to have any drive to deal with some adversity. Other teams are basically laughing in his face while going right at him which probably is leading to the frustration penalties. My opinion, a guy like that you deal with when he's a good player, but on the downswing is toxic as ****.

Bonds and Bridges combined had more targets, catches and receiving yards against in the 2 game series with Calgary than Wheatfall (our #2 receiver) has in 5 games. That was an exceptional torching of our corners. And no adjustment. Playing the same stupid cut cover on 2 man routes all day, every day. JY's defense isn't that small, it just got out of the pool!

Clercius doesn't have a ton of space there. Want him to run out of bounds? Ball needs to get out way earlier if he's going to try to make that pass but really like you said just needs to eat it or throw it away. Also note how Streveler is basically completely parallel to line of scrimmage and gets zero from his lower body into that throw. Complete arm toss like most of his passes. Guy should not be playing.

We'll see about that in October and November. VA is the king of putting together 4-5 game stretches where he looks like MOP and shitting his pants the rest of the season.

Adams played almost the entire second half of this game. I get the Thomas frustration. Adams is doing sweet **** all out there. Not a difference maker. There's really no, give "Thomas reps to Adams, problem solved" scenario here. We have no difference maker on the DL. I liked Woods last year. Adams is twitchy but doesn't finish many plays, doesn't seem to really know what his assignment is. Big burst, no finish.
-
I'd put Case in Sterns spot. Can do a lot more at all levels, way more burst, better hands. Really need to get someone in here with a catch radius to help these QB's out. Clercius is big but doesn't work in the crowded space inside. Get Mitchell on, even if he can win a few vertical routes a game that's something we're missing right now.

Osh kind of taking a dump on Streveler post game.
-
2 of Calgary's picks were pretty clear RTP's by rule. Maybe one time we'll challenge. The Streveler one in the endzone was clearly spearing, what we use to call an earhole...which you can't even do to another guy on a kick cover, let alone on a QB, these days.
-
Why didn't you go tempo like halfway through the 3rd quarter? Or even after that stupid first drive INT in 2nd half.
-
It's July. BC was the 2024 Grey Cup Champion on this day last year.
-
Leaving Streveler out there he's going to injure his core/hips throwing like that. Irresponsible.
-
Streveler is throwing purely from his chest, shoulders and arms. Guy needs more time to heal that knee.
-
**** get Wilson some reps. He might be starting next week.
-
It's kind of sad seeing Streveler in this condition. Wonder if he hits the 6 game with Schoen to get healthy. He's getting almost nothing from the lower half of his body. Spraying all his throws unless he's on the run into the throw.
-
Doesn't seem like we're getting much benefit from veteran players when guys like Nichols, Bonds, Neufeld, Kolankowski constantly make mistakes purely based on lack of communication.
-
I don't know if he's even that. He can't move anymore. It's like watching an old man when he tries to scramble. He can't move through reads in the pocket, hasn't adjusted his game to his physical reality.
-
Finally a returner who gets vertical before dancing.
-
I don't think Stearns could have caught that pass if there wasn't a Stampeder on the field. Streveler fired that way too early.
-
Doesn't look like Streveler was ready to play today. Stares into the rush then hands the ball over.
-
Half assed effort looks a lot worse when you can go a whole month without making one play.

Thought Younger spent all that time he saved not flexing the bill of his hat on game planning.
