We need to start taking some risks on D. Not going to win anything like this. Going to be a 8-10 team if we don't find a way to make some plays on the ball and just wait for mistakes. What a useless stiff arm by Pimpleton. The point of that move is to not let the tackler get into your body.

Our D did not get a play call there at all. Why wouldn't you use a timeout? Just handed them a TD.

Didn't even cover Oliviera on the vertical there. Corner just hammered down on the out. Need to get Oliviera the ball more so he's warmed up and not so tentative when you do give him the ball. That carry on first down should have been easy 8-9 yards if he's not shuffling at the line.

What if we just turn the 55 yard line into a series of giant ads? Can we keep it then?

It's weird to watch a D that only reads routes and basically doesn't react to the ball downfield. See Major Williams tying himself in knots there with literally one route to his entire half of the field that's a fade to the sideline as an example of the effect it has where guys are overthinking. Oliviera is basically a non-factor in this offense.

D needs to make some plays.

Even when we get pressure we can't take advantage because we're always giving the QB the advantage with outside leverage downfield.

Lot more vertical look from routes this week. That play where you run 4 verticals, all on the trips side going vertical then one quickly sits, is a dirty dirty play that can't really be defended if you time it up.

Can't hit it even if you block the kick now too. I hope they keep going after him though because he's pretty slow to get the ball to his foot.

No vertical route on the entire side of the field and our corner (Moxey) is still back pedalling at 15 yards depth with the ball heading out to the X receiver in front of him. If your cajones are that small you probably shouldn't be playing DB in the CFL.
