Reinebold hasn't bounced around that much by CFL coaching standards. He's coached for three different CFL teams in the past decade. Noel Thorpe and Mike Benevides and Scott Milanovich (2nd best offense in 2025) and Corey Mace (best DC in 2025) have all coached for three different CFL teams in the past decade. Reinebold has been around the CFL for 30+ years now (!) so it's gonna seem like he's bouncing a lot but really he's just a typical CFL assistant.

Love it. Relentless lunch pail dude who does the dirty work on teams and does it well. Noticed him making a lot of solid teams tackles last year, but people tell me his teams game is much deeper than just chasing kicks...

don't need to pull a Reinebold. our 1996 team was clearly not good enough, but absolutely gutting the roster turned out to be ... not a great move in 1997.

hell, I am blind to most of the subtleties of football and even I can see that Holm is a ludicrous athlete. Can't think of another Bomber DB past or present with his maneuverability. Holm to me is kind of like "what if Charles Roberts grew a couple of inches and played DB?" Good luck to him with his shot. Rod Black had Sticky -- MBB has Holm. cmon man, I get that you like to gripe but you're just saying nonsense here. Let's look at some GOATs: Scotty Bowman didn't play in the NHL. Don Matthews didn't play above the college level and certainly never played Canadian rules. Bill Belichick didn't play in the NFL. Closer to home, Kevin Bourgoin was the passing game coordinator / WR coach for the absolutely lethal BC Lions offense this past year and was our WR coach in 2021 when we lapped the whole league. Yet another dude who topped out as a player in college and went into coaching straight afterwards. And his playing career was so un-noteworthy that he's got no Wikipedia page and I had to google into a local news story just to discover that he did play at one time.

well, we brought in Brown but he emerged a little too early for our convenience. And Streveler could have been QBNext except for some devastating injuries. credit to this Bomber regime that they actually brought in two quarterbacks who could win games in the CFL. Before Strev in 2018 and Brown in 2023 you have to go all the way back to Danny Mac to find a Bomber-recruited QB who didn't **** the bed when the spotlight hit them.

have been watching some 1997 Bomber games as CFL Classics has been posting them. Just watched the Toronto v. Bombers game where Reinebold rolled out Dexter Dawson as a DB. Pinball and Flutie absolutely pantsed him. (the offseason is so brutal I can't believe I'm watching 97 Bomber games to get my fix)

I'm more thinking of Milt getting revenge for some of the cheap shots he took from Sanchez over the years...but sounds like their bygones are bygones.
