NICE. Mastodon rules, have seen 'em a bunch of times and they never disappoint.

Thinking of upgrading to a PS4 or XBox one over the holidays. I'm mulling which way I want to go.
What games are you looking foward to?
Asking because I haven't yet seen any compelling reasons to upgrade to a next generation console. Seems like the games just aren't there yet, it's just more of the same, albeit prettier.

Our team is simply not good enough to give away ten points on special teams mistakes and still win.
(edit: ten points and a "turnover" on that roughing the kicker call)

Who plays video games? What are you playing?
I just got a PS3 and am working through all the best games from that console. Have played through God of War 3 (incredible), Killzone 3 (just another shooter, albeit a pretty one), and am just starting the Uncharted series.
My absolute favourite thing of the last console generation was the Mass Effect series. Have played the whole series through twice, will probably play it again soon.
Don't play online much, I'm mostly a single-player game guy.

No Moore, no Wild. Not feeling good because I don't think we're a deep enough team to get by without those guys.
Hoping for the best, expecting the worst today.

Here's a guy who was fun to watch when he wasn't playing the Bombers.
Good to see him back in the league, hope he's put his injury problems behind him.

Dumb fans in Ottawa, getting super loud during their team's biggest offensive play of the game. Savvy!
Climie raging at the Ottawa offence! Matty calling out Henry Burris! The FNF panel is getting feisty.

Renaud: 3 games, 19 punts, 812 yards, 42.7 avg
Lirim: 9 games, 65 punts, 2877 yards, 44.2 avg
Their gross averages aren't nearly as important as their net averages.
If Renaud places the ball better, coverage teams will be more effective and his net average may very well be longer.

....or not.

Okay Hank, get it done.

Wow, in thirty years I have never seen the kick-out play work.

Brutal drop. Just brutal.
Johnson fits right into that Redblack offence.

Don't think anyone disputes that Durie's a good football player.
His ability to convert high-percentage throws into good yardage makes him an ideal target for Ray.

I was anticipating a 10-7 snorefest so I gotta admit I'm pretty happy with how entertaining this game has turned out to be.

Is that the Mosaic Field boo-birds I hear?
Nice breakdown on the fake field goal by Lapo. Great looking play.

Move, Brack, get out the way,
get out the way, Brack, get out the way.

Man those Double Green uniforms are brutal.
-
Crompton starting to look less like a guy who had no training camp and more like a real starter here.

Weird to see the Stamps' backup QB wearing Doug Flutie's distinctive #20.

Rooting for Ottawa so hard that I will even type their name the stupid way they prefer. Go REDBLACKS!

Mastodon was good as always, but Opeth blew me away. They were touring their super mellow Heritage album so I was expecting a lot of people in the crowd to be yelling at them to play their older, heavy ****. But the dude had the crowd spellbound with the beautiful and haunting new material, cranking up the tension and expectation ... and then, towards the end of the show when he did get around to playing some old favorites, the place went absolutely bananas. One of the best metal shows I've ever seen. Hell, one of the best shows period.
Still not a fan of Opeth's recordings, for some reason they don't satisfy, but I'd definitely go see them live again.
