  1. Hey man, take whatever time you need in the tub, you always got a spot on the club.
  2. ah, yeah, I can see Collins breaking stride and reaching back in slo-mo.
  3. That wide-side out around 0:20, was that a great throw or a great catch by Collins? Looks like Gale just tucked it in there perfectly past the DB, but it's tough to tell from the angle.
  4. (edit: never mind)
  5. Gale has a start and a win on his resume, so he's got a tiny edge over Ross there ... though you could say the same of the Fever (actually, several starts and wins for him) Weird thing about Gale is how many teams have moved on from him, in a league starved for backup QBs.
  6. 2018-06-16 Hamilton at Calgary Masoli: bad pick ESPN is giddy Johnny Football lurks
  7. 2018-06-16 Montreal at BC Willy flinging bombs! Larks soaring over pumpkins! Unsustainable. Willy's checkdown throws turn Alouette comeback time into garbage time.
  8. Think the TiCats are in tough here ... but then I thought the Argos D would eat Collaros alive...
  9. 2018-06-15 Toronto at Saskatchewan Dink, dunk, wounded duck End of the line for Frito? Or preseason rust?
  10. Is James Franklin even the next James Franklin? Dude is not successful or proven or anything, he could be the next Trevor Harris, he could be the next Don McPherson, no one knows yet.
  11. speaking of the TSN broadcast, some day I want to make a supercut of that road warrior fan with the little #85 stickers on his shoulder pads, the TSN cameras find him game after game...
  12. 2018-06-15 Edmonton at Winnipeg Sacking Mike Reilly Like catching flies with chopsticks need Coach Miyagi
  13. Lankford accumulates a few more MBB likes...
  14. he's no Johnny Football tho.
  15. I do agree that the Rider rage here gets a little out of hand sometimes, but you can't say that Glenn isn't a proven QB. Granted, he's a proven .500 QB, but the Riders were about .500, so it all checks out. Looking forward to this year -- the rule of the CFL is that the team with the better QB and the better Canadians wins, and both those areas are huge question marks for the Roughies. Maybe it all turns out ok, maybe Collaros gets time to do his work and maybe Messam keeps Messaming for another year and LaBatte plays like it's 2007 and Edem bounces back and they can scheme successfully around Hurl .. but that's a lot of maybes. (looking at their roster today, it does look like they have a practice roster OL ... an import named Takoby Cofield ... someone mentioned they didn't have one)
  16. bad line, bad Canadians. NBD. Linked article is just trolling -- but I do like that Justin Dunk term "Strevelation"
  17. Especially since a lot of the passes in Lapo's offense will only travel five or so yards downfield.
  18. stoked for tomorrow! I know very little about scouting QBs, but a thing I noticed in this video is that he's got kinda bouncy-castle footwork going on in the pocket. Is that a big deal for a QB?
  19. Edmonton 13-5 Calgary 12-6 Winnipeg 10-8 BC 6-12 Saskatchewan 4-14 Toronto 13-5 Ottawa 10-8 Hamilton 10-8 Montreal 3-15
  20. Trudeau's stance defending Canada's protectionist policies in its dairy market is somehow virtue signaling to the globalist open-borders elite? You must be talking about those other kind of globalists, the ones who love tariffs...
  21. The board software tracks what you've read and you can jump to the last thing you read on a thread by clicking on the little star or circle to the left of the thread title. Really makes those long threads more readable, for me anyway.
  22. That's the standard thing for a DC to do to a rookie QB, isn't it? Blitz until the rook makes you pay for it?
  23. okay, I've complained about thread proliferation, and I was probably a little irritable about it, and I regret that. This site is my primary source for Bomber news and analysis, so I like to read that stuff instead of the editorial / opinion stuff that I could get from Friesen if I wanted it. If I were God-Emperor of MBB, here's the thread creation rhythm I'd want: Around The League 2018 Season -- all non-Bomber news for the whole season. (There was a super great week in review/preview thing we had last year, I can't remember who posted it, but they used the word balloon emoji a lot. Tweets and news bits with embedded reactions that were usually apt or funny. Would love to see that return. Was it called In Case You Missed It?) Bomber Game Week / Bye Week Thread -- opens on Monday on game week, tracks all the Bomber news for that week (Streveler starting, etc) Game Day Thread obvs numerous free-for-all post-game analysis threads -- there are trusted names in this business, I know to look for the good ones. Legit large developments (Jones fired, Nichols gets bionic legs, Dickenson appoints himself short-yardage QB for Stamps) get their own threads. But really, I'm gonna chill out on this topic from here on out.
  24. yeah, FMB not getting cut caught my eye too. Wonder if they're trying to trade him?
