I was watching that show on Sportsnet with that weird guy that wears sunglasses (McKown or something is his name I think) and he and his panel of dudes were totally trashing the CFL. They were basically saying that the CFL wasn't good enough for Toronto, because they get teams like the Yankees and Lakers coming through, so why would they watch the "Saskatchewan Roughriders" - one of the only times I actually felt some sort of anger about hearing the Riders disparaged, and that was when I realized I despise Toronto ******-bags even more than combine jockeys, I guess. I realize that it was a Rogers TV station and Rogers sucks but that was just ridiculous. Sports guys trashing the CFL, in Canada. ******-baggery to the extreme, but soooooo Toronto (sorry Bluto, just too much experience with that "we're better than everyone else" attitude I've seen far too much from Torontonians).

Seems like the Jets have a really good line into the US hockey system. Won't be long until our entire team are Amerks! Look at all of the US draft picks currently playing on the Jets or in the AHL: Trouba Hellebuyck Copp Roslovic Connor Poolman Appleton Then we have other Amerks on the team that either weren't drafted by us or played in the CHL instead of the US : Buff Wheels Chase De Leo (Portland Winterhawks) Hendricks Lemieux (Barrie Colts) As far as other US guys that may have a shot in moving up in the next few years - Foley, Glover, Samberg? Am I missing anyone? Track record is pretty amazing for US players. Not sure who our scout is down there but they are earning their keep. That's quite the back-bone of the team.
