  1. I got TSN direct for the last 2 months of the season. It's bad. Lags. Stops. Poor quality. The new TSN app that just came out doesn't work on my Android box. I back dated it to watch the game 2 weeks ago. Last week it auto updated to the new version. I re-installed the old version, which says there is a new version and won't play anything until I update. When I do, the new version doesn't play. TSN doesn't even acknowledge the error reports. I had to run the new app on my phone and chromecast it to be able to watch the game. IPTV gives me better quality and less lag for less money. I used Reddit streams a few times this year. They're OK, but not very good quality.
  2. You bring the booze. Warning... my TV's only 49".
  3. Looks identical to me. It's faster and has a proper encryption certificate now. Old bookmark worked and I was still signed on when I got there.
  4. Best Grey Cup tickets I ever got were at the 52 yard line, 20 rows up in Winnipeg. Got them in the parking lot 30 minutes before the game for 50 cents of the face value. Had my choice of tickets too and chose the best ones. I also got tickets on game day in Vancouver and Calgary. Both times I got good seats at a great price within a day or two of game day. Ticket prices will go down from now until game day. The bigger worry is if you can still get good tickets or if you have to sit in the nosebleeds or the end zones.
  5. Only the best of us. 😉
  6. You keep trying to sell what no one is buying. Adams had more than half our receiving yards in Calgary and more than a third of our receiving yards against Regina. His big plays got us out of huge problems in both games. Sure he dropped a couple, every receiver does. None of them were game changers, but his catches sure were.
  7. Evans, Fajardo and Arbuckle (to a lesser extent) prove that you don't NEED a vet starter to win games or even get 1st in your division. Collaros is better than Nichols. Both are better than Streveler, have significant injury concerns and will be expensive. Masoli is also coming off of a season ending injury, so all of the available vet QB's have injury issues. If Nichols was still our QB, the team would have already packed their bags and we'd be talking about next year around here. I doubt that Streveler gets any NFL interest at QB. I also doubt he gets any interest in the CFL as a starting QB. We will have 3 QB's next year, but only 2 on the game day roster.
  8. C train is good North/South. East/West by transit sucks.
  9. I agree that Fajardo was across the LOS and that the goalpost didn't take a TD away this time.
  10. C Train goes right by the stadium. Best way in and out if you ask me. See if you can get a cheaper hotel near a C train station.
  11. Put me in the 'I didn't want him here, but am glad he is' group. He's been our best QB this year by far.
  12. We should win the trench war and the running game. Assuming that Fajardo starts and can play at 80%, QB should be a wash. I think this one, like most games, comes down to turnovers. If the Riders can catch the couple of picks that Collaros has thrown and Calgary has dropped each game, we could be in trouble. If not, we should win this one.
  13. I liked this place better when it was a PJ/bluebeliever free zone.
  14. According to someone on that other (dead) site... MOS said something on his show about once a player has been declared a QB, you can't change it. That could mean during the year or it could mean ever, but Sinopoli makes me think it's during the year only.
  15. That could be true.
  16. Possible I suppose, but I've never heard of anyone changing from a QB to another position in the CFL.
  17. Streveler has already been designated as a QB. I don't think you're allowed to change a players designation from QB to anything else.
  18. Re Security: They put in an invalid SSL certificate sometime after September 28. I'm not saying that's the only problem, but it shows that they were making changes around the time the site died.
  19. Dumb change indeed, but all they'll do is change the three to a two. Still won't be able to use Streveler as a HB.
  20. You can't line Streveler up in the HB spot unless you remove the other QB. It's a penalty. Article 4 — Designated Quarterback Prior to the game, a team is required to designate three players who shall be permitted to alternate for each other during the game at the Quarterback position exclusively. Not more than one such player may be in the game at any time and none of the three can enter the game as a member of Team B. PENALTY: L25 PLS DR or L25 PBD or option. NOTE: For the purposes of this Article 4, the duties of the Quarterback position may include punting, place kicking and kicking off. If a team designates three Quarterbacks for a game, the player designated as the third Quarterback shall not be eligible for kicking duties. NOTE: A team is required to have one designated quarterback or kicker on the field for each of its offensive plays.
  21. Of course I get it. You're making something up and calling it a fact. Simply believing something is true doesn't make it a fact. Expecting that I'll react in a certain way is just a theory and a bad one at that.
  22. Another guy who doesn't understand what a theory and a fact are. 😂
  23. This post proves you actually don't know he difference between fact and a theory. 🤣
  24. The old 1 team he beat was good theory. 😂
  25. Folks are pretending that we destroyed the Stamps for the whole game. Truth of the matter is that they won the first half and we owned them in the 2nd half. The 70 yard TD in the 4th destroyed their confidence. After that BLM threw 2 picks and they turned the ball over on downs. We needed the combo of Collaros/Streveler to beat them. Either one alone or Nichols/Streveler wouldn't have done the job. We needed the big throws and the big runs. Neither QB by themselves could provide both. I'm not suggesting we sign Collaros next year. In fact, I didn't want us to trade for him in the first place because of his health. It's turned out great so far, but I'm still worried about a big hit taking him out yet again. Collaros has been both good and lucky in Bomber Blue. Great TD throws and 4 balls that should have been picked, but weren't. He's moved the pocket well, something that Nichols can't do, and that's been the reason for some of his biggest plays. He's only played 1 and 3/4 games so far. Breaks will even out over the long run, but we're in the playoffs so the long run doesn't exist.
