  1. They have taken it quite a ways beyond that - it's starting to look like it's going to cost them.
  2. No surprise whatsoever - I wonder what the QP topic of the day will be now? One would think all 3 opposition parties would have done more research, before going all in on this issue.
  3. Sir Dalton Schoen
  4. Not quite accurate. We cannot have the same government perpetually in power - which would be logical outcome of your statement.
  5. Same guys always runs here. Knows he won't win, just drives around and has coffee with other seniors. Not a bad retirement gig.
  6. Or Green. May usually calls a spade a spade.
  7. I voted Liberal in 2015, but Conservative after that. I cannot vote for the current Conservative leader - but I do like some of the other MPs.
  8. The front 7 also feels like an area where vets will shake loose, or at least get their reps reduced.
  9. He could discuss info that's been redacted?
  10. Absolute stupidity on that election interference issue. It's like a contest to see who can be the lowest common denominator first.
  11. There is really no discernable difference between the two. If I may do a Gumpism. "Extremism is an extremism does."
  12. Best. Football. Name. Ever.
  13. McD's cheese burgers paired with a 1919 - you heard it here first
  14. No mix for me. My current Rye is 40 Creek Niagara - it's a really good Rye on the rocks.
  15. Still ruining your CR with coke? 🤪
  16. So...pretty safe to say at this point: The Jets gave the Knights about as much competition as any other team has.
  17. Ok, let's talk about the price of food: Wheat is the back bone of the world's food supply. The two largest wheat producers in the world are at war with each other. There are climate issues: farmers in Kansas are abandoning their wheat crop, due to drought. Saskatchewan and Alberta are currently crying for moisture. Manitoba has had areas with drought in recent years. Currently, meat prices have come down but grain prices haven't. Margins for meat producers are slim to non-existent to negative. Drought and ground water depletion in California is impacting fruit and vegetable prices. All of this plays into the things you mentioned - it's the backbone of the economy.
  18. Yes, they do and they are correct. I did say 8 out of 10 questions are of the irrelevent variety, by the way, which I think is quite accurate
  19. Roast beef. I try to watch a couple of times every week. Yes, there is some dancing around the questions, but there are also answers such as: We have the best debt to GDP ratio in the G7 We are helping Canadians with various rebates etc. etc. etc. Both sides are playing the politics game. The one MP who asks good questions and makes good points on a regular basis - would be Daniel Blaikie of the NDP
  20. That would be because 8 out of 10 questions are Captain Obvious talking points. When will you cancel the carbon tax? When will you get out of the way so Conservatives can take over? Why don't you cancel the carbon tax? Why is the Prime Minister hiding?
  21. And also those they associate with. Feel free to use it whenever you find it necessary. 😄
