  1. Dis ain't just yer run of the mill loss...
  2. When simple draw plays are turning into 50 yard gains - it looks like execution more than scheme.
  3. The same thing happened in the second half of 2007. Teams started running schemes that countered the short - passing game they were running with Glenn at the time. Next week will show whether they are capable or willing to make the necessary adjustments.

  8. That was the WIL waltz - try to keep up. ?
  9. If that breakfast food comment is so bloody annoying - then people should simply stop baiting him. I mean, it shows up in threads where he has not even posted yet.
  10. A few stats for the Riders' O" Offensive points per game: 27.8 (ranked 3rd) Net Offense: 370 yards / game (ranked 7th) Plays from scrimmage: 55.5 / game (ranked 7th) QB pressures given up: 42 (ranked 3rd) Time of Possession: 30:18 (ranked 5th) Interceptions thrown: 8 (ranked 7th) Completion %: 70.2 (ranked 2nd) So, there are a few things one can conclude here: 1. Getting a lot of pressure on Glenn is unlikely. However, their pressures allowed extrapolated over 9 games puts them at 48, significantly more than the Bombers have given up. 2. The Riders rank quite high in points scored, but lower in other offensive categories (net offense; time of possession) it looks like a significant amount of scoring after turnovers by the D. 3. Glenn's completion percentage shows some good efficiency, but one cannot ignore 8 interceptions, an average of one per game. 4. Curious stat: despite being ranked 2nd best for the least two & outs - they are among the lowest in plays from scrimmage per game.
  11. A noble sacrifice - worthy of a bud prohibition...
  12. I would say our left is shutdown, but our right side is solid.
  13. Probably back in the days of lead plumbing and mad emperors. Lead (Pb) = plumbums I'll just leave you with that image...
  14. Good thinking chaps - my theory is the Esks are trending down and are ready for a Messam stomp.
  15. It's a bumper crop so far...
  16. Combine jokes aside - I thought some might find this interesting. An important time of year out here...
  17. He is actually making some good points - no need to dismiss them just because he's using words like debatable.
  18. The red zone productivity looks like something that can be adjusted and improved. Of the issues the D has with run-stopping at critical times - I cannot say as much.
  19. Darvin Adams dropped two touchdown passes - I jinxed him.
