We can keep it safe in the flats, with a 15 yard cushion.

I don't know their family situation, I just stated the facts I'm familiar with. This is a volatile sport where careers can end at any time. I dare say plenty of people would not put $100 K at risk for the sake of a CFL contract. Coaches are different, because they don't have the risk of a career ending injury. As for players signing (or not signing) in Winnipeg - every situation is unique and family could be a consideration.

Sure, Winnipeg One will hire her to sub in the inner city - all depends how you define 'had to'

Which is exactly why she will be reluctant to move. Seniority isn't even protected when you switch divisions, never mind switching provinces. If they move, she starts at 0 on the seniority list. That is huge these days, with all the government cuts, if you're at the bottom you could be one of the people getting axed, you will have no more protection than a first year University graduate, the only caveat being if you teach a specialty. And yes, I do know what I'm talking about.

That's what I find problematic about the comparison - ZC had far less time in the QB room before he was starting games.

I have to disagree somewhat, mainly because the passing game sucked for all the teams in those three playoff games. Bomber DBs definitely dropped picks from both BLM and CoFaj. I don't think they'll sign him and I don't think they necessarily need to, but I thought for a guy who was new to our system, he really didn't serve up all that many dangerous throws.

I’ve heard the sod hut at the MB. Museum needs an occupant.

It wins games but it would not have won playoff games. It allows teams hang around and always have a chance to mount a comeback. Unless you have a performance where the D will not be denied, such as in the Grey Cup.

Wade be runnin’ a profeshonal organizashun.

Neither of those. We were watching ZC warm up and you said: “there’s your starting Quarterback.” Got any more predictions for us?
-
It’s time for a West final in Winnipeg - that is all.
-
Exactly this. Just completely clued out and parroting the same old cliches. “The first place team usually...blah, blah, blah.”
-
Hey man - do you remember your prediction about our starting QB when we met up at Skydome half a dozen years ago?
-
I would say all the Canadians except Hecht - that’s a young group of nationals.

The improvement in the vertical passing game was a big part of opening more holes for Harris.
-
It’s been a sobering conquest...

Your boys will probably smash back better next year.
-
It was also noticeable how our pass rushers always came in under control and kept contain. They were literally going for the turnover rather than the big hit or sack - not a bad idea with the way penalties get called now.
-
Any doubts that I may still have had about a Bombers' win were erased when I saw the first gaping hole for Harris. No trickery or Streveler deception needed - they just smashed that baby wide open.

He was watching... ...Morning Big Blue!

Holding a team to 13 points is most decidedly non - shitty...no matter how you do it.

The quote from BLM after WSF says it best: "you had a good game plan, now go get 'em." People that actually know the game and were paying attention could see what was going on.
-
Precisely my take. Who could watch them go into Calgary with that kind of game plan and execution, and just take it to BLM & CO - yet still unanimously pick Hamilton to win?
