  1. I don't think OL is that bad in pass pro. They are just not as good as they were a few years ago. I would say the passing attack needs some adjustments, and those are slowly being made.
  2. I thought this was a good game for the O. Montreal is always going to get pressure, they have a great D. 26 points and 200+ yards for BO, missing their undisputed #1 receiver - there's not much to criticize there
  3. The big thing with Swaggerville was generating turnovers. But on the other side of ball, the O was mostly anemic. I remember them beating the Argos 13 - 12, with something like half a dozen turnovers from the D.
  4. I appreciated Younger's answer when he was asked why they let both Bighill and Alexander go at the same time, given how important leadership and communication are. "The other side of that is the physical toll that the game takes. Either way, you have a challenge. Whether the challenge is communication or physical limitations - you choose your challenge."
  5. Well, I wouldn't blame them for no longer wanting to start him It was quite noticeable in his last start, that he gets confused when a D shows different looks Throws a nice ball, but can't read a D very well
  6. In my opinion, that is still to be determined. There were plenty of good catches last week, as well taking hellacious hits to make plays Ottawa might not have the best secondary, but they do play with aggression
  7. Or, you can add them to the broadcast, using your best baseball broadcaster voice. "Collaros is 75% completion rate outside the pocket, 62% when he's throwing from the pocket."
  8. The Bombers' history of making MBT look surgical...is interesting.
  9. My thinking is, we're not maximizing the benefits of starting 3 Canadian OL anyway, so we might as well start 3 Americans It's obvious that Eli is not going to be the starting centre at this point, so, as JBR suggested, slide Neuf over there Bryant, Vanterpool, Neufeld, Wallace, Randolph
  10. It's fascinating how narratives shift. Earlier this year, the consensus was that we shouldn't overpay for Lawler, Ford, et. al. Not criticizing, just making an observation.
  11. He might get hurt, but he is a good QB
  12. He seems to be really struggling with the pressure. And anything longer than 20 yards is usually off target
  13. Harris is playing well, no smoke and mirrors involved.
  14. At least you're consistent.
  15. Argos vs. Elks was an entertaining game. Fajardo takes an absolute pounding...not sure how many more downs he'll be playing.
  16. Even the TSN commentstors are starting to mention it.
  17. Serviceable when healthy, I am speaking only of this season.
  18. The centre is terrible, but if Big Stan is healthy the OL is decent.
  19. 5-4 is not an atrocious record. Your takes seem to lean towards 'the talent is adequate but the coaching is not.'
  20. I'd say most of the 2019 team played with an edge. With Darvin Adams leading the charge.
  21. As would every other team. In fact, we might have the best siruation when it comes to that. The Strevy/BO combo can grind out some wins.
  22. "I think we can win" is not enthusiasm. Carry on, as you were, it's all good. 🫠
