  1. EDITED the email address. Please send entries to logocontest@morningbigblue.com
  2. If it was just up to me, you'd win hands down. Well done.
  3. Some good choices there. I'd rather drink hose water than Kokanee.
  4. Say that until you have actually had a well-crafted pint of liquid gold.
  5. Sounds like most of you guys haven't really tried good beer before. Most of this is lamentable, watered down swill. Some real low standards here.
  6. Time to put your design skills to the test! The moderators here at MorningBigBlue.com are inviting all interested members to submit to us your best logo design that will be featured front and centre on the community forum. We will be using the logo to replace the basic “Morning Big Blue – A Winnipeg Blue Bomber Fan Community” text header you see on each page, as well as for any other external use such as link swapping, cross website advertising, etc. Please adhere to the following specifications: -Must be 100 pixels in height -500-1000 pixels in total length -Should incorporate the blue and gold colors as seen on the site -Should incorporate the phrase “Morning Big Blue” -Background of the design MUST BE transparent -Use of the Blue Bombers “W” logo or any other trademarked branding is prohibited -Final design must be submitted as a .png file extension Put your creativity to the test, and see what you can come up with. The contest will run until September 15th and the winning logo will be chosen by a majority vote of the moderation team soon after. The moderators have also collaborated, and the winning designer in addition to the satisfaction of having their creation front and centre on the site, will also receive a $50 gift card to the Bomber Store. You can enter as many different logos as you like. Please submit all entries by email to logocontest@morningbigblue.com Good luck! -The Morning Big Blue Moderation Team
  7. Still kills me sometimes that I didn't keep the condo I used to own in Calgary 10 years ago when I moved back to MB.
  8. Well then that solves the mystery. Screw consistency, we'll just rotate a different QB in each week and Grey Cup here we come.
  9. Is this an argument over who's better, or who's worse? I appreciate the stats Mike, but I hope you didn't use up too much of your time for this.
  10. I had a hard time not bursting into uncontrollable laughter all the way through that post.
  11. Because our playbook is so awesome?
  12. Yeah but you are talking about the booting two of the three QBs we have on the roster for some unwise remarks made to the media. Who would you recommend replacing them with? The coaches I am sure addressed the situation, gave them what for, and moved on.
  13. I wouldn’t be surprised if you asked Burke off the record right now, if he had a chance to go back to being just a DC, that he would at least consider it. Ultimately though the new HC would be the one who hires his own coordinators, so even if Burke agreed to it, it likely wouldn't happen.
  14. A lot of attention being focused on the "betrayed" part. I have a harder time with Goltz calling the situation "poorly managed".
  15. You know, it's true what they say. Long Island iced teas are way stronger in Canada.
  16. So true. The guy needs game experience and the time to work through his inconsistencies. You can't gauge progression based only on two games and a handful of practices. If the team wasn't ready to devote a fair number of games to let him make some strides forward, then he never should have been promoted to #1 in the first place.
  17. He is a defensive coach through-and-through no doubt. It looks like he hasn't even made a valiant attempt to learn more about his offense in the time he has been head coach either.
  18. So this is what an organized, well-run, professionally managed football doesn't look like...
