Yep. Thats been my biggest complaint, lack of finish and settling for field goals. There were 3 TD drives in the 2nd half that started at Toronto 51, Winnipeg 48 and Winnipeg 31. Nice to see the O finally convert field position into TDs, then drive the length of the field to cap it all off and put the game well out of reach. That, and well I haven't gone back to confirm, it seems to me this was the first game in the winning streak where we really had to come back from behind. Being down 10 points in the 3rd quarter and coming back with 27 unanswered points. Those are the hallmarks you look for.

Yep, I've been thinking for weeks that this offence is going to come back and bite us. Started becoming a believer in the 2nd half of last of game. Of course that means that next game will be the one. That and the fact we play Calgary.

Picks this week need to be in by Friday @ 6PM.

It is the game plan and the formula they've been using to win. Play low risk (and mistake free) on offence and relying on the defence to win the turnover battle. Would be nice to see a higher octane offence, but I thought the O did a much better job in the 2nd half against Toronto.

Young Stars Classic - Winnipeg Jets roster

Seen this video making the rounds after Matthew Tkachuk and Brendan Lemieux were mixing it up a bit in yesterday's game, here are there dads going at it in 1996 at the World Cup. -
It's Game Day! Toronto rolls into town with Drew Willy in tow as Winnipeg tries to extend their 6 game winning streak. 1 PM start. Forecast is sunny with temperatures around 18 - 20 degrees Celsius with a Southerly 10 km/h wind. A beautiful fall day for football.

The problem was he was being represented as an actual reporter on CFL.ca, not an entertainer.

Jets vs Oilers Heritage Classic
Rich replied to The Unknown Poster's topic in Winnipeg Jets Discussion
This is what I posted. No one suggested this is a CFS issue, nor do I think they should be called. What I said was bringing this to CFS would be just as ridiculous as lodging a human rights complaint on this. That is really what I have a problem with because this wastes time and resources of the human rights commission and diverts them from dealing with real problems. -

Maybe someone should lodge a complaint with Child and Protective Services about them being neglectful parents in wanting to bring a 6 month year old child to a stadium where Winnipeg sports fans are apparently very apt to ridicule and pour beer on their child. And yes, I think that complaint would be just as ridiculous as calling this a human rights violation. -
Netflix shows are in the 12 episode range as well. It is the way that TV is moving to. Higher quality shows means higher production costs and therefore less episodes. The effects and finishing on a lot of these shows are close to being on par with movies. That adds to the time it takes to finish shows post filming and another reason for shorter seasons.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017_CFL_Draft Here are the trades so far for the draft. As Atomic said, order will be based on final standings, but they don't snake. Same order each round.

Here is the link to the thread when we found out Ritch had passed away. Lots of stories and memories from those who had gotten to know him through message boards and in "real life".

TSN has released their projected top 300 scorers. http://www.tsn.ca/crosby-leads-list-of-top-300-projected-scorers-1.565371?utm_campaign=trueAnthem:+Trending+Content&utm_content=57d7e59104d3012e5cf14cc3&utm_medium=trueAnthem&utm_source=twitter Of note, they have Crosby at #1 with 94 points and McDavid at 2nd with 86. The Jets that made the cut: 15 - Wheeler (71 points) 42 - Scheifele (60 points) 67 - Little (54 points) 86 - Byfuglien (52 points) 109 - Ehlers (48 points) 137 - Perreault (45 points) 194 - Stafford (38 points) 206 - Connor (37 points) 224 - Laine (35 points) Find it very interesting they project Connor to score more than Laine.

This is a weird thing to say. If you want to play the odds of 33,000 people in attendance, and compare that to daily unique visitors, then it is not someone from this site.

Interesting tweets from Drew Willy and Kevin Glenn this morning: No idea what Glenn is talking about, but that is his only tweet since the trade. -
