Yeah, my interest in the World Cup died when North America was eliminated. Haven't watched a game since. The tournament really should have ended before training camp starts. Been more interested in the Jets preseason. Also been worried that Maurice will have missed a good part of TC. You want your coach to set the tone for the season, especially with all the younger players we have.

I'd pass. Gardiner is signed for 2 years then a UFA, and really wouldn't be equitable replacement for Trouba in the short term or long term. Soshnikov was undrafted, already 22 years old, and has a grand total of 11 NHL games under his belt.

Trouba will sit. Don't see this getting resolved anytime soon. How the Jets do coming out of the gate may determine who blinks first.
