  1. I hope Hogan and the offense can go 3 for 3 on opening drives. Elks aren't going to have much fun if they are playing from behind all game.
  2. In Harris' defense... that was kind of a greasy play. Tensions were high after the Duncan-Busby chop block that took out George with a gnarly knee injury (which for some reason is only a 10 yard penalty) and you would be hard pressed to convince me that the late hit on Harris wasn't retaliatory on the very next play
  3. Looks like about 350 tickets available on Ticketmaster
  4. If Harris plays having your 3 most visible players (Milligan, Ouellette and Harris) get concussions and play the next week almost seems to be verging on Coaching/Training Staff malpractice.
  5. Lots of options. Eli as you said. Last season there was a game where they had to trot Streveler out there as a receiver. They've had packages in the past that gets Willie out there as a TE. The possibilities are limitless!
  6. He's 36 years old which would put him in probably the top 10 oldest players in the CFL... of those the only ones who aren't Kickers or QBs are Big Stan and Micah Johnson in SSK. He is also coming off knee surgery last year, and could barely play in the 2023 Grey Cup. Father time is undefeated.
  7. Beard on the 6-Game IL for the Elks. Kolankowski might be the acclaimed All-CFL West Division Centre at this pace.
  8. Dinwiddie not thrilled with the Argos performance https://www.argonauts.ca/2025/06/20/ryan-dinwiddie-post-game-june-20-2025/
  9. PFF has Peterson marked down for 88 yards after contact https://www.cfl.ca/2025/06/16/5-pff-stats-that-stand-out-from-week-2/ Who knows how they define contact though
  10. Lions depth chart shows Rourke as 3rd QB with GTD designation. Surely they wouldn't think about throwing an injured Rourke up against a Bombers team that has always had his number after a week of barely practicing but who knows
  11. YES Grant returns a TD, Thomas takes a RTP and the Argos get a field goal. Collaros hands it off to Brady for 13 yards and then inexplicably Prukop comes in and yeets it into double coverage... well kind of double coverage, for some reason there were two Bombers within 3 yards of each other 40 yards downfield so there were two defenders there also.
  12. Oops all linebackers. Its like me playing a pick up game in NFL Street
  13. Even if the Bombers were given a chance to sign him... half a mil on one RB and one CB isn't going to give you much flexibility in overall roster construction. I guess they could have went the Lions route and loaded them up with that sweet sweet marketing money.
  14. https://www.cfl.ca/2025/06/15/cfl-injury-reports-week-3/ Brady is officially out for Saturday. Looks like Rourke is trending towards not playing, but because the Lions only have 3 QBs signed he gets to sit on the active roster, and the Lions are also going to be without Berryhill who had a good week 1 but didn't do much last week.
  15. Can't imagine that bodes well for Rourke, going from limited to DNP.
  16. Officially limited today
  17. cfl.ca posted his splits for the Bombers vs the rest of the league, I wish they would have split out the Elks from the 'Rest of the CFL' stats as well. Sophomore slump is definitely a thing. He had a cup of coffee in 2021, and then went super nova in 2022... by the time he came back from his Lisfranc injury the league had caught up to him and the 18 months in the NFL definitely didn't help that. You could tell in the 2022 West Final the Bombers knew exactly how to handle him. BO not being the face of the league is almost marketing malpractice at this point. I think the only player who comes close to his follow on socials is Kelly 🤢. His work with vulnerable animals should be front and centre.
  18. He had 8 REALLY good games 3 years ago and he has been riding that in the CFL ever since.
  19. Streveler is the only QB in the league to have beaten a team with a winning record.
  20. Wonder when they will announce the musical act. 2024 the Jonas Brothers were announced start of June. 2023 Green Day was in September 2022 whatever it was that was in Saskatchewan didn't get announced until November.
  21. This is a big improvement on WR depth from last year where WR injuries meant that Streveler was out there playing WR
  22. Geez confirmed concussions for Milligan and Ouellette on Thursday and they are practicing on Tuesday.
  23. PFF ranks the Bombers Linebacker Corps 2nd overall https://www.pff.com/news/cfl-ranking-every-cfl-team-linebacker-group
  24. See, Ouellette is always confusing to me because everyone talks about him as a power back but he is pretty tiny for that. Riders listed him at 5.09 and 210 going into last season. Then there were reports of him ending the season at 225. And then apparently he lost 35 pounds and put 10 back on to start the season at 208 this year.
  25. I'm not sure if replacing a 30 year old, injury prone running back with a 32 year old, injury prone running back on his 3rd team in 3 years is a big an upgrade as people might think it is. Although Carey did manage to dress for a full season last year after being dumped by the Stamps due to injury concerns.
