Rankin and Leake are a really good combo. Bombers need to get out to an early lead and force them away from the running game. I don’t like the idea of a slugfest with their DL depth.

I may have said he was decent, but yes he is dumb. Remember that one Banjo Bowl when he kept doing that stupid spin move over and over, getting destroyed by Willie and co and had to come out of the game? I find them kind of middling. Their real strength is at RB

The OL needs to have a good game, they’ll be in tough against a 9 man DL rotation and a pretty good LB corps. Edmonton can be had through the air if Zach gets enough time to operate. Ford is good obviously, but that’s far from an elite secondary.

Our DL besides Willie didn’t have the chops in that game at all. OL didn’t play well either. Agree there was bad roster management but Toronto was still the more talented team in the trenches imo. It showed in the game we lost to themhere late last season too.

Besides the clusterfuck that was Legg’s 2022 season, I’d argue we did have the lineup to win in 2022. Couple drops by the WRs, missed XP, blocked field goal and that bloody godamn interception by Prukop was what ruined it.

Houston is listed as out. Only explanation for that is he’s still dealing with his family emergency. Nothing else would make sense, he’s been playing very well.

2022 was the blown opportunity. 23, (though we got slightly out coached and trotted out a bunch of injured guys) to me wasn’t an embarrassment. It was a case of the front runners coming up against a team on a late season heater. It happens in sports. I’m over that one. 24 we got outcoached and outplayed in nearly every aspect. Toronto deserved to win that game. Even before Collaros got hurt the Argos were pretty much dominating. 22, and missing out on capping a three-peat in Regina was the unforgivable one where the Bombers were the better team and simply beat themselves with stupid mistakes and bad decisions. A three-peat with 2 cup losses afterward would be much easier to take.

That hot chocolate used to be deadly, I remember burning my tongue so badly sometime in the 90s, bothered me for weeks afterwards.

VA is the ultimate summer QB. Seems like every year he’s the MOP front runner in the middle of August then either he gets hurt or starts shitting his pants.
