This pathetic excuse of a pass rush isn’t going to beat anybody

It’s beyond dumb imo. Guys trotting out injured in the 23 GC was dumb. Zach playing with half his finger torn off was even dumber. This time it’s past dumb, this was morally wrong.

There was so much that could have been done to avoid it, but at this point I’m afraid you may be right. The core of the team was alower to all age out at the same time and coaching/management have made too many boneheaded decisions over the past 2+ years. Out of the guys we currently have, who can you rebuild/reload a team around starting in 26? QB- Zach is 37, Strev is pretty much done. We have no idea about Wilson but Inhave my doubts, no idea about Artopeous. No idea if Elgersma will ever come here. RB- Brady is still in his prime. Peterson is a solid backup. We’re pretty good here WR- Demski is playing very well but getting up there in age age, and pretty beat up, probably doesn’t have a lot of years left. Pokey is a keeper, Clercius is a keeper. Wheatfall is solid but not special. Everyone else is borderline useless. OL- Wallace with some seasoning will be a keeper, Bryant is old. Vanterpool and Randolph are keepers. DL- Willie is on the downside of his career, though he’s one of my all Time favourite Bombers and a surefire HOFer. Vaughters is washed. Woods needs to start a number of games to see if he’s worth keeping. Adams is decent but not great. Thomas and Kornelson, we all know. LB- Woodbey is promising but we’ve only seen 1 game. The rookie Canadians are promising but completely untested. Tony Jones is mediocre, Wilson is old. J. Jones never sees the field but should be a keeper based off how he played for TO. DB- Griffin is a keeper. Allen is a maybe. Vaval is a maybe. Holm is pushing 30. Nichols is aging rapidly. Others are mediocre at best. ST- Sergio is very good, Sheehan has improved. Leaves us with maybe 7-8 skill players worth moving forward with on both sides combined. 2-3 OL. 1-2 DL. I’m pretty sure we need a full scale rebuild at this point, the cupboards are pretty bare.

The way they handled the situation with Schoen is a black mark on the whole franchise. Rushing him back for the start of this season, then rushing him back after a month with a known (second-time) torn ACL is inexcusable. Someone needs to legit lose their job for that.

In a vacuum I don’t mind them taking a shot on 2nd and short. I was more irritated at the context of them pissing around with Strev at the 5 yard line, then proceeding to not use the SY set when it would have been prudent.

I went and listened to it and I thought he was a bit of a ****. DT could have criticized a number of coaching decisions in that game but decided to softball a discussion about a feel-good story involving one of MOS’s favourite guys and Osh got all bent out of shape because of the word “injuries”

Def Co for sure needs to figure it out. This isn’t the 2006 Argos with a bunch of ballhawks making up for lack of pressure. Bring on Woods and try to use 4 man pressure already. It’s just stupid at this point. Trying to run a 30 front with 2 ends past their prime and either untalented (JT) or out of position guys at nose. It’s ridiculous. Part of this is on Walters (and Osh) too though for not bringing in a true NT if that’s the scheme they were going to run. They’ve had nothing but undersized 3-tech guys for years now, or trying to play rush ends in the middle.

1. Interior OL. Embarrassing, atrociously pathetic. 2. Honestly, Jordan Younger. Why even have the DL on the field? This 3 man front scheme sucks. They straight up don’t have the talent to run it. 3. Kyle Walters for thinking bringing in this group of players in a home GC game year was anywhere close to good enough. Honourable mentions- Kevins’s catch, Demski, Shoen for giving it his best with one working knee.

Bombers didn’t deserve to win that whatsoever but regardless that was total bush from the officials at the end.

They’ve got this all ****** up. OL Is terrible. Situational play calling is terrible. Not enough talent on either side of the ball. Younger trying to run the mid 2000’s Argos defence with mediocre DBs and either a shitty nose tackle or a misplaced end in the middle of the line. Walters sleepwalking for years now. O’Shea too. Wade might have to clean house in the offseason and we’re surely going to see another team raise the cup in our stadium this year. I just hope to **** it’s Hamilton at this point.

Not one. Logan useless and hurt. Mitchell showed up fat and hasn’t done anything. Sterns hurt but was ok, just not what they needed at all. White Jr didn’t make it out of camp. Vaughters has made a few plays but overall underwhelming. Am I missing anyone?
