  1. Yeah, they play the exact same way. There won't be any difference.
  2. The important thing is we've moved on from the Lapo/#15 era. It served it's purpose but man, I couldn't have stood another season of dump offs and 3 yard passes on second and 8.
  3. Good point. If I were Harris, I'd be thrilled at the Collaros signing. As good as Harris is, he probably hated the dump offs to him from Nichols when the entire stadium, including the opposing D, knew it was coming.
  4. The eyeball test. Probably the best test of all.
  5. I hope he finds success elsewhere, just not against us.
  6. Heck, why not? Toronto took Willy. Why not Nichols? :-)
  7. Yes, Nichols and Lapo would be perfect for each other. Just imagine the completion percentage for 5 yard dump-offs they're going to engineer together in Ottawa. If that doesn't bring out the fans there nothing will! If he lands in Toronto to hand off to Wilder Jr., with that O-line, that should electrify the league and bring the Argos right into the mix. Hell, Walker will be likely to go off for four, maybe five hundred yards!
  8. Yes, a Chevy Cavalier held together with duck tape will always be a much better deal than a Jaguar. Unless of course, you want to drive something really nice and don't mind paying for it.
  9. It might be scary good. With Alexander at safety and guys like Taylor and Maston in the secondary I like the back end of the D a lot. The front line should be fine so the only question mark will be Bighill. His play last year dropped off from 2018. Let's hope that doesn't continue.
  10. Me either. It might be Buck that approved the most of the move.
  11. Personel-wise, for me, that D ranks right up there with the best I have ever seen on a roster in my +50 years of watching CFL football. It wasn't just the Grey Cup game either. Those performances at season's end in Winnipeg, Calgary and Regina were right up there too. If Walters gifts Hall with a team like that again in 2020 I'll be expecting a similar result.
  12. When he played for us what I liked about him was his fire. He would often be seen fired up, noisy, and animated. I'm not sure why he left. If it was strictly for money, it was a poor decision.
  13. Good point, Brandon. Anyone that played for lapo deserves a second chance.
  14. Completely and utterly disgusting of the league to steal that award from Bryant.
  15. I know but geeze, if he had just held off for one more year he'd have won a Grey Cup.
