  1. I'm going to include myself so, thanks. I fell in love with this team 50 years ago and have witnessed a few Grey Cup victories but this was the best one by far. Welcome to my Blue Bomber family!
  2. Well, I know I said before the playoffs started that we were perfectly capable of running the table. Did I really think we would? No. I admit that. I thought our D would have a game where we gave up huge yardage, couldn't stop our opponent when it mattered, sputtered on offense when we needed them most, etc. I was wrong. Ultimately I would have laid the blame at the feet of Mike O'Shea for being a stubborn cuss that wouldn't make the changes necessary to put this team over the top. What happened? He made the changes necessary for putting this team over the top. Therefore, he now gets the praise he deserves and I'll be the first to say I was wrong and that he did a great job. I'm so proud of Wade Miller, Kyle Walters, Mike O'Shea, Paul LaPolice, Richie Hall, and the rest of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. You electrified the city of Winnipeg and all the Blue Bomber fans throughout the country and indeed, the world. Take a bow gentlemen. You're Grey Cup champions!
  3. Oh, so you want to take this moment to make it about you getting credit for sticking with this regime and players. Wonderful. Thanks for adding to the great ambiance of our first Grey Cup win in 29 years. Just what I wanted to read at this time. So tell us, so that you get the credit, just what is it that you want us to say to you?
  4. 1. Andrew Harris - Put the team on his back after asking them if they had his back. Incredible leadership from the Winnipeg native. 2. Willie Jefferson - Saved his best performance of the playoffs for this game. The man was the best defensive player on the field. 3. Mike Jones - Terrific play on what could have been a huge momentum shift towards the Hamilton team on a deep pass to the other Mike Jones HH - Jackson Jeffcoat - For wreaking havoc in the Hamilton backfield all. game. long.
  5. Let it out, Geebrr. Let it out. You'll feel better.
  6. Well done, Jcon. Quite accurate. Certainly better than that other poster. Ahem. :-)
  7. I admit I've come full circle with those three. I loved them, hated them, and loved them again. What a roller coaster ride. LOL!
  8. Wow! Amazing restraint. We did it, pal. We did it!
  9. Yeah, and if we don't win it next year we can start, like, "Oh man, we haven't won in so long. This sucks! Fire everyone!". LOL!
  10. Funny you should say that. Neither could I. I'm getting acquainted with a bottle of rum right now though.
  11. When we went up by 21 points the tears just started flowing on their own.
  12. Man, did we ever! That was one incredibly dominant defensive performance. In essence, that was us taking Hamilton behind the woodshed for one hell of a beating.
  13. Which he immediately segued into the Grey Cup being in Regina next year and how he can't wait. That man is a total P.O.S.
  14. Urban singing BLUE AIN'T YOUR COLOUR. **** off!
  15. Bob just said it should be a pro-Winnipeg crowd.
  16. What calms me is listening to the pre-game on CJOB. Something about Bob's voice just sets things up with the right level of optimism, confidence, and admiration for our team.
  17. Oh I see. I don't do twitter but if BB is chirping Priders that is certainly understandable. I'm sure Hamilton has looked at film of our revamped defense and offense and how we played to beat Calgary and Sask. The point is, they have never played against *this* version of the Bombers. It is not the same team they played earlier. The same cannot be said of Hamilton though. We know exactly what we are getting having played this same Hamilton team twice already. The Cats will have to beat us 3 times this year to win it all. If they can do that, they deserve it. We only have to beat the Cats this one time. To get here we had to beat Calgary in Calgary and Sask in Sask. The Bombers are battle hardened and will be confident. Who has Hamilton beat to get here, Edmonton? LOL! We are not Edmonton! Should be interesting.
  18. Not sure what you mean. You mean they just don't care? Or do you mean Hamilton is staying quiet so as not to fuel the Bombers? Brandon Banks Twitter account didn't sound very ... sleepy.
  19. Except that Winnipeg has been in the exact same position that Hamilton is in now and even though they should know better, they're only human, and it's easy to underestimate your opponent especially when virtually everyone is telling you you will win. We'll see if it affects Hamilton or not.
  20. What a performance by Fred Reid. Just awesome.
