  1. You don't have to bugger the ratio either way. Ford gets hurt, Alexander moves to fieldside Cornerback, Kelly or Hallett go to safety. Plus you will be having Lawson staring starting at DT and Kramdi at SLB. The DA rule isn't going to matter much to.you guys.
  2. He wasn't even raw. Raw would be for a guy who is so athletic, but hasn't played the sport alot. Brubacher in Hamilton is considered raw.
  3. The Americans you're using would've been on the roster and starting regardless.
  4. It was hard to tell, both defensive halfbacks looked to be in the area. I think Bane lined up as the closet slot on the boundary side.
  5. I don't think Wallace was 344, when drafted. You also have to remember he's 6'5, so 330lbs isn't a bad weight.
  6. Looked more like cover 3, I think Hallett (safety) was deep middle. The two defensive halfbacks (Kelley on the fieldside and the American on the boundary), looked to close together. No idea which defensive halfback was responsible for Bane?
  7. Why? They're plenty of Guards at that weight.
  8. Their is no point to the rule. Teams are going to have American veterans, who have been there three years regardless. Is the naturalized rule why you keep Bryant, Jefferson, etc?
  9. He hasn't gone overboard at all. This is the Canadian Football League. It's a minimum of seven starters not a maximum. Guys like Kelly will be next man up, because of their versatility.
  10. Don't understand the Kramdi hate. If he were a yank, some fans wouldn't be putting him down.
  11. Mital is definitely going to Ottawa. That is their weakest position. Plus this draft is loaded at the offensive line. Wallace will probably go to Saskatchewan at 3, to compete at LG and RG with Rider's. Don't see a running back going in round 1. Ti-Cats have depth issues at MLB and Safety. Defensive back is a area of strength in this draft, but Labrosse could be the pick. Like the other picks though. Especially Hergott and Brubacher going in round one.
  12. Doubt it. How many fullbacks get carries these days?
  13. Hladik just put up 22 reps on the bench, that is pretty good for a fullback. He had more reps than some Dlinemen.
  14. Of course you can find future starting potential beyond round 3. Calgary have started two Mr. Irrelevants. Your starting LG this year might be Eli. Guess who was picked in the fourth round. My Ti-Cats are starting a fourth round pick (Katsantonis) at safety this year. Logan Ferland wasn't even drafted and is the starting LG for Saskatchewan.
  15. They might go with Cassar and Hoyte in the middle.
  16. I wouldn't say that. He can play cornerback, strongside linebacker and safety. Teams wanted his versatility.
  17. Is this a joke, even veteran QBs throw it to no one. Does Zack need more seasoning?
  18. If that were the case Kramdi would be staring at safety and Alexander would be in the box. Obviously the staff thinks SLB is a better fit, or they would just stick him in the old Canadian role at safety.
  19. If you watch Kramdi he is actually good, that is why he is starting over an American. Hallett or Kramdi could play safety and move Alexander to SLB, maybe the coaches see Kramdi as a SLB. The Canadian SLB is making a come back.
  20. McManus Konar Judge Lokombo Lawrence Teitz Aren't exactly smaller Wills. They the same body type, WLBs usually are.
  21. Who said anything about retirement? Teams release aging vets all the time. Hitchcock and Morrale where released from Hamilton once upon a time, due to age.
  22. Exactly, Dobson to RG, Grey to RT, Eli at LG. Maybe that's a next year thing.
  23. The defenses should both feel good.
  24. The draft isn't terrible. Plenty of quality players.
  25. Does he stay at guard though with Eli being resigned? It seems wasteful to turn a big defensive tackle into a development guard, when one can be picked in the draft.
