If it's an injury I suppose I can see it but then why not just sit him and let him heal properly for the postseason? Resting him with first on the line just seems counterproductive.

And an honourable mention to Demski who really righted the ship on fumbles this year. He locks it down tight every time now. But why has Brady been all but benched in the last 2 games? You have any insight?

God forbid they have to "join this program already in progress". This is why having the games broadcast on a dedicated sports channel is a must. So they're consistently bush league with the CFL and NFL. Good to know.

Well it did but his hand was still firmly under it. When he rolled/slid the ball touched the ground which makes sense, imo, as the hand can't cover the entire length of the ball. In short the ground wasn't the deciding factor on if he had secured the ball. It was an amazing catch, actually.
