Thanks, appreciate it. Yes, sometimes it's hard to get to sleep. However, I found a little trick that helps me. I have to make sure I have a couple of small pillows to prop up my left arm when I sleep on my right side or.... ooooh man, waking up is no fun. The stiffness & pain that thankfully subsides to a tolerable level in a few minutes after I get up.

    Have you tried edibles?

  2. Kovs isn't making the team if the team is healthy. He might be the call up if a RHD gets hurt though.

Perfetti will play with the Moose after getting in some NHL games.

Nash will make the team. He's suppposed to have really good D numbers and a good PKer.

The question mark comes after the top 9 (including Nash)...KV, Svech, Gus and Hark vying for 3 spots. I see Toninato as the 13th forward if they carry one, which I am not sure they do. I think the odd man out is Hark and Gus Nash Svech is the 4th line unless KV shits the bed on the 3rd and Maurice likely moves Nash up into that spot. I'd try Gus on the 3rd.

The next few games will determine their immediate future.

Moving DeMelo??? I'd bet against it. Chevy didn't build this D to trade one away. Our depth on D is the left side, not the right.

Funny but outside of Stanley I dont care if a D is taken.

Losing DeMelo in the playoffs shows how weak the right side of the D is. I'd rather lose Stanley than DeMelo.

I don't think we have to worry about it because they probably take Apples.

Rumors of Chevy giving our 17th? for their 34th and they draft Beaulieu. That would be a best case scenario in my opinion.

I think Pionk's next deal starts with a 6. Copp's starts with a 4 at least and not sure if it will be with us.

I don't think Stastny comes back.

I'm not sure if Vesalainen makes the tean out of TC but I think Gus does. Heinola probably does too, if he isn't moved.

    I hope MP re-signs for 1 x 1.5m or less.

For those wishing DeMelo goes to Seattle and saying Morrissey isn't worth his contract, did you see what they did against McDrai in the first round? Did you see the state of our D with DeMelo out?

Side note: The year of McDavid/Eichel draft, the Sabres intentionally tanked to try and win the 1st overall, and got ****** hard. Ended up with Eichel, who is a bust, as far as I'm concerned... Especially compared to McD.

I'm not sure if you are kidding or being serious.

He has scored 160 points in the last two season on a very poor team. He is much better defensively than Scheif and would get more points than him playing on the Jets. If he is a bust, what woulod you call Laine?

  5. Wheeler is dealing with an injury.

Lewis is on the team because he is very good at killing penalties.

The lines will change once Maurice has a better feel for PLD and Wheeler's injury improves.

I'm glad they are taking a good look at KV.

Copper, Lowry, MP, Stastny and Lewis all playing well. Coincidence that their contracts end this season?

  6. Looooooooooong time lurker, first time poster. Had to break the silence after this trade. I think the CBJ may have got the better player(s) but the Jets team got stronger.

Also, after listening to PLD's interview, I'd guess he is re-signing a contract way before his last year is up. He had good things to say about the organization from top to bottom and the quality of players we have here. He also mentioned how much he didn't like to play agains the Jets because of how big and fast they are and their work ethic. He said his dad had nothing but good things to say about the Jets. I have read an article about the Jets letting his dad have LOAs to watch him play at, for example, the World Juniors. I think he re-signs here.

I forgot to mention, he was a beast in the playoffs against TO last season. Laine was excellent in the post-seasons too but it is nice to know PLD ups his game when it counts.

Scheif, PLD and Lowry are three centers that will be hard to play against in the playoffs and this move gives us a better chance of being there this spring.

    Maurice will probably run...

    KC Scheif Wheeler

    Stastny PLD Ehlers

    Copper Lowry Apples

    MP Harkins Lewis

I'd like to see Stastny center the 3rd and Lowry the 4th with Lewis and MP.
