I think one game suspension is the max under the collective agreement which is why they're the same. However, not sure on that.

We don't need a Mike Sellars. We need a back who can get to the second level quickly which we have in Harris. The Riders have Cameron Marshall who is a bigger back with average speed for a pro running back. He hasn't done much this year & he's bigger than Harris. Size is okay but speed is everything. Yes, our OL could run block better but I think it's the LaPo offense & the way it's designed.

It's all part & parcel with what is wrong with our playcalling under LaPo.

Beginning to feel this way as well. I was a defender of the guy prior to this season but the game in BC lost me. LaPo's not very good.

Right now, we don't have the horses to win it all. We can only hope we eventually do. Scouting is a concern.

I was at the game. On the first challenge, they never even announced if it was a catch or not after the Riders challenged. They just announced the Stamps were throwing a flag for PI. We all assumed that the pass was ruled incomplete. Just brutal with these damned challenges.

Don't understand what Jones still sees in Bagg. He's a backup receiver at best now.

We have the playmakers at receiver, I believe. We just have to use them differently but don't expect any changes.

Still, I'd rather we go down all guns a blazing than the way we meekly did Friday night with no fight at all. Darvin Adams showed he can be a playmaker if Nicholls throws him the ball. TJ Thorpe shows potential. We also need to throw more to Denmark which we haven't done. Our passing game seems more horizontal than vertical. We don't challenge the field as much as other teams. LaPo is all about short controlled passing & spreading out the field. It means longer drives & if we get behind it's harder to come back from a deficit. Unlike BC, Edmonton or Calgary who have no issue slinging it downfield. I'm not a fan of this type of passing game as it is too conservative. Especially trying to protect a lead as then it's even more conservative as we found out.

I think the offense did execute but the playcalling wasn't the right calls. Continually dumping passes yards short of a first down expecting the receivers to make the first down everytime when surrounded by Lions defenders was unrealistic. As was handing the ball off on 2nd & 5 or 6 expecting a first down each time as well. It was shitty & cowardly playcalling. Playing not to win but not to lose. And how did that work out??

It's not like Nicholls throws to him a lot. He can't do much with the football if he doesn't have it.

That may have been the worst quarter of playcalling by LaPo I've ever seen. That has to change.

Some of the scripts on that show? The lesbian relationship between Supergirl's sister & the other female FBI officer. The kind of sunshine & light relationship of some of the other characters. Just the way they interact & talk to one another. Supergirl is a weird show.

The right move was to re-up O'Shea given the season we had last year. What message would it have said if we let him go? That being said, he has to get his head out of his ass & start demanding a lot better from himself as a STC & HC, LaPo, Ritchie, the other assistants & players. There's no excuse for the team to play like it has in the 1st quarter of every game or some of the decisions being made. The way things are now, it's just not good enough.

Man, one win & the Rider trolls just come out of the woodwork. Soon to disappear again, of course.
