  1. Seemed like a legit comment to me. JBR's not wrong though. Just that now the Bombers have some flexibility to not draft offensive linemen only with their first pick.
  2. Don't agree. It is if you have an offensive line that blows like we had until last season. We have needs at other positions that must be addressed more than just continually drafting OL. Thank God we've gone past those dark days of a few years ago.
  3. Guess we'll see who Walters goes with in a few weeks. The more legit targets for Nicholls the better.
  4. Despicable.
  5. There was a guy with a big head when he was drafted. Played games with Hamilton for nearly 2 seasons. Is Plesius even starting for the Ti Cats?
  6. Dressler is on the other side of 30. Adams & Smith had injury issues last year. We had Rory Kohlert playing boundary receiver & to be blunt if he wasn't awful then he was useless. We need to start a Canadian at receiver & our choices are fairly limited. To me, this is the most important position to shore up. More than any other.
  7. He could ultimately be a thousand yard receiver. How can you just blanket bracket him like that? I'm going by need & our need at Canadian receiver is glaring.
  8. At 6 for sure. Just not sure at #1. Two first round picks, at least one has to come to camp competing for a spot.
  9. I'm selfish. (1) I'd like him as a Bomber first. Two, then the NFL if he's drafted by someone else.
  10. Only problem with Gray is do the Bombers pick him only to lose him to the NFL? Or go with the more sure thing in Vandevoort? We haven't reached the point where we can waste a pick on "futures" yet like the Stamps could.
  11. I'd be very happy if we drafted Vandevoort #1 as we really need to upgrade our Canadian receivers. If we knew Gray was CFL bound then he'd be a great selection as well. However, we really need to get better at receiver first. I think that should be Walters first priority.
  12. I guess my point is for a Canadian to get a legit NFL chance as a draft prospect or free agent then all of his individuals have to jump off the sheet of paper it's written on. There are more & more freaks of nature coming out of the NCAA every year as offensive linemen.
  13. His forty time might be problematic as his bench. However, who knows what the scouts are thinking? May not be an issue.
  14. You sure get the impression the Republicans are a bunch of crooks. Especially this Nunes guy. Of course, everyone with ties to the Trump White House.
  15. Spider-Man was always a teenager. So he should be young. I just hate reboot after reboot after reboot. Especially the SM films. Move on already.
  16. Great move. Anything to get families & young kids interested as they are the future.
  17. Apparently Paige & Alberto Del Rio were married yesterday. http://www.foxsports.com/wwe/story/wwe-paige-alberto-del-rio-married-wedding-032717
  18. Simonise is immature trying to take short cuts & thinks he can crack an NFL team. Maybe he can & maybe he can't. I do know this, he flunked out of the University of Calgary. To be able to play in the CFL & NFL you have to be smart as well as disciplined putting in the hours studying after 2 a days at training camp learning an offensive system. The coaches will demand it. If he can't handle simple academics at university then how is he going to handle a CFL or NFL playbook? Vandervoort is the safer choice, I believe.
  19. Joe Poplawski. Others since.
  20. Because listened to music too loud for decades.
  21. All great choices. No Builders?
  22. I think TSN could do a lot more. I agree it's a shame.
  23. Thing is, TSN lost the NHL. Without the CFL they'd be televising chess matches & lawn bowling. I would hope the CFL wises up for their next tv contract & allows other broadcasters to bid. I'd like to see the games split over a couple of networks.
  24. TSN doesn't help when it televises the first round then goes online for the remainder of the draft. The majority of fans can't get the feed like last year. All the broadcaster can spare is an hour??? Or why don't they televise the CFL Awards the week of the Grey Cup. TSN is Mickey Mouse when it comes to a lot of the league's coverage. At least I feel this way. The CFL brings in a lot of revenue & TSN ignores it other than the games.
