Kenney & his cronies never said they were going to go after doctors. No one... absolutely no one... voted for him to do that. Where in Kenney's campaign literature did it say he was going to cut physicians salaries & treat them like ****?? Check the campaign promises below & tell me where he said he'd do that. It never came up during the election campaign so get off your constant whining you keep droning on about the way Alberta voted. It's clear now that we were lied to. At the same time, no one gives a **** if your feelings are butthurt. If you don't like it you have a choice. You can leave & find another job in another province. I didn't vote for Kenney to go after physicians or disabled people on AISH (which are provincial disabilty payments) which is despicable. Then again, poor & disabled people can't defend themselves or fight back against the Kenney government so they're easy targets whereas Trudeau can fight back so the bully Kenney backs off when challenged. A lot has changed since the provincial election. I voted for Kenney so Alberta would have a stronger voice when dealing with constitutional issues like equalization payments & the federal Liberal policies which clearly hasn't happened. That 70% (of which I am one) that you claim to hate are angry because we've been lied to. Turns out Kenney is a fraud, a snake as well as a coward in cowboy boots & a stetson. During the election he said he'd stand up for Albertans when it came to Ottawa which was another lie as he hasn't. I won't be voting for him again. I suspect a lot of people won't especially with the doctors dispute. He'll be giving the province back to the NDP in 2 1/2 years. https://globalnews.ca/news/5014642/alberta-election-2019-united-conservative-party-campaign-promises/\

US Politics
My wife & I stood two hours in line during the 2017 Mayorality & Civic elections in Calgary. While standing in line, we all thought it was due to a record turnout. Nope, the City of Calgary didn't deliver enough ballots to the polling stations. They ran out & more ballots had to be shipped to these polling stations by couriers which took hours. I read that some City employees were also ddeliveing ballots to polling stations using their own vehicles to speed up the process. Some polling stations even closed their doors at 8 pm with people who had been standing in line since dinner time because of the long delays & never voted which spartked outrage. There was supposed to be an investigation into what happened but nothing ever happened. All we got from the City was, "Oops, Sorry!" Canadians get very complacent thinking our voting system can't ever screw up. We see the problems with mail in ballots in the US & we think "Not Here". However, after experiencing what happened here in a simple civic election in Calgary, it's evident that voter fraud & interruptions can happen here as well. Voter interference & voter rigging can occur in Canada as well.

Yep, no surprise with your answer there.

Covid-19
Well, I'm referring to winter & when it truly starts. And people stay indoors & heating systems in our houses & buildings.

Covid-19
Sports was a big part of our kids life growing up. Both our kids played football & baseball. My youngest also played basketball. To have those taken away from them would have been sad.

Covid-19
This is just me but I think people in general won't take Covid seriously until schools get closed down again. That seems to jar people into thinking this is serious. They stay open while health officials & politicians lecture us constantly. Yeah, tough spot for you & your family. Glad we didn't have to fo through this when our kids were growing up.

It hasn't even snowed or got cold yet.

Frosty, do we really have to know every bad news murder that happens in Winnipeg? Maybe it's time you moved.

Covid-19
What are the numbers in Manitoba? Alberta has over 900 beds dedicated for Covid. As of today, we have 86 in hospital & 11 in intensive care.

Travis Hamonic is out there as a free agent. Should the Jets sign him?

Covid-19
It's not the case count you should be concerned about. It's the number of people in hospital & those in ICU, How many beds were set aside for Covid 19 patients. how many beds are occupied & how many are left. Is the Manitoba healthcare system being overwhelmed or not?

I never heard anything about it. So, lots to explain. All I can say without knowing the details about Trump threatening Iran is that it's 3 weeks to the election & looks like he'll probably lose so it's nothing but bluster. He can say what he wants for now.

The Star Trek Thread!
I have no idea how Enterprise lasted only 4 years but Voyager 7. Archer at least had an excuse for making bad judgements in new situations never presented before but what was Janeway's excuse except being incompetent? And when she got back to earth they made her an Admiral. I'm in the minority I know but I liked Enterprise. I thought the series was finding its legs in seasons 3 & 4 until that horrific final episode which was Rick Berman's Eff You to the Star Trek Universe. I thought the Xindi storyline in season 3 & early formation of what was to become The United Federation of Planets in season 4 was excellent.

The Star Trek Thread!
I didn't mind Tom but Neelix was the Jar Jar Binks of Star Trek lore, Just an annoying asshat of a character. What else can you say about Janeway who always lectured others about the importance of the Prime Directive to others & yet broke it everytime to serve her interests.

Stripping him of his powers would be a good start. I'm sure that was the plan. The physician advising the WH believes in Herd Immunity. Even though he is untrained in Epidemiology.

So, in what context is this about? You need to explain Frosty instead of just putting up some random video.

Well, he must answer to someone like the Attorney General of Michigan. These bullies need to be weeded out. They act like they're generals & not sherrifs wh answer to no one.
