Trump sure is the Teflon Don. Everyone around him is getting sick but him.

Just can't see how Republicans can win in November.

No one said they should work if there's an outbreak. AHS would close it down.

As long as it doesn't turn out to be just Victoria Avenue & Albert Street in Regina.

Yeah, agree there. He should get a refund on his degrees.

I know. If it was today Manning wouldn't even make it. Someone would complain & the NFL would have to apologize. Same with Manning ya da ya da ya da. Look what happened in Lethbridge with that waitress in a Star War's Storm Trooper's costume with a toy gun. People called the cops, Lethbridge police took her down & now they have to be investigated. She was promoting a restaurant. On May 4th. (May the Fourth be with you)…. Too many unhappy people in the world.

How many snowflakes would be offended if this video came out today?

So, they can't afford a lawsuit but can afford to run a team for a year or more???

It was a bad look for a guy who makes his living as a so called CFL Insider. Do I think any less of him? No. But he should have known better.

There is an outbreak at the main Canada Post facility in downtown Calgary. Six employees have tested positive for Covid 19. How long until CUPE wants it shut down which would mean mail disruption across the country. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calgary/canada-post-main-calgary-covid-outbreak-1.5562431

This is the broken business model I've been talking about that some posters were bitching at me for daring to talk about it yesterday. Some teams can do well trying to live within their means while others just blow through money like a hot knife thru butter. Usually it's irresponsible owners who act like it's High Noon at the OK Corral when it comes to owning a CFL team & spending $$$. Then they are just allowed to walk away whenever they want which I've never understood. These bad owners have turned off their team's fanbase over the years in Toronto, Vancouver & Montreal. Every bad owner who walks away from their team debts should be sued by the CFL. Why aren't they?

Too late.

Roy Horn had been in failing health for years ever since he was injured by one of his Big Cats. The story said he suffered a stroke onstage with the Tiger the night he was attacked. I'm sure Covid 19 just hastened the process. He would have been in the high risk category.

If the season doesn't go then no player gets paid. So there's no point signing until he knows what is going on.

Ah, so what? Put me on ignore if you don't like it. And this goes back to the mid 80's & how many Commissioners has that been?

Yes, Immunity Passports & J5V's posts about Sweden & getting the economy going. Government officials are talking about passports to work or travel based on immunity. I happen to agree with you 17to85, the economy is opening too early & we will be sacrificing people lives to make a buck. I actually thought (silly me) that the picture didn't need to be explained as it was so obvious (again silly me). Especially when it was right below what J5V said. And for the record, I don't agree with anything he says about this pandemic. J5V is 100% wrong. Yet, he is entitled to his opinion.

Great points, Noeller.

Not enough people would buy.

Well, you seem to know as well. So, you talk to Randy for me. You're much smarter, according to you.

How is saying the business model is broken ignorant when teams collectively lose $10-20 million every year with row upon row & section upon section of empty seats in nearly every stadium? It's true. If it was any other business would you say that? I'd say not. You'd call them bad owners. Not many of us here were AAF or XFL fans. Whe we'd watch a game the first thing we'd notice were the empty seats & we'd snicker to ourselves thinking that particular league would fail as we viewed both as a threat to the CFL. Well, we see a half empty stadium in Edmonton, in BC & a completely empty one in Toronto yet we don't snicker. We say to ourselves that's just the CFL does business & ignore it. Why do so many Canadians who are only NFL fans say hurtful things & mock our league? Whether we like to admit it or not, their perception of the CFL is absolute & total failure because of all the empty seats. That the CFL isn't worth watching or investing in as a fan. I've followed the Bombers & the CFL as a fan for 55 years. It would kill me to see the league fold. I pray they find a way to survive & then if they do to finally try & fix things right. The CFL needs to live within its means. If that means rolling back the salary cap millions of dollars to save it, then fine. Or adjusting ticket prices downward then fine,. Just do it. I hope the league survives & gets a chance to reset.

If anyone is friends with Lyle Bauer on Facebook you should read what he has to say about cancelling the season.... He makes some great points.

Coming soon to a town, city or province near you.

That is my feeling as well. That a new league will rise out of the old.

The point is it doesn't work. Things have to change. We hope they get that chance.
