  1. At least on a frozen field the receiver knows where he is going & has the advantage which can create separation. If the qb can get the ball to him then it could mean some huge gains. If the OL can't fire off then the LOS becomes a wall for the run game. So, advantages & disadvantages.
  2. Ha. ha. Yeah, that just makes it okay. Just keep polluting because Trudeau's Liberals paid for the right to do it. Doesn't help the world but it helps make Trudeau's pals rich.
  3. Everybody gets a little too comfortable for their own good.
  4. Also, if the field is frozen & footing treacherous there goes the run game.
  5. Your hate of Nichols was & still is so obvious. When the Bombers lost it was always 100% on Nichols. Only when they won it was a team game as he did nothing so quit lying & spinning everything to fit your narrative. You correcting Tracker is such a joke.
  6. I was a little young when Bud Grant left for Minnesota. I had just really only started following the Bombers a couple of years before & all I knew was he won Grey Cups. I didn't know much about the CFL at that time or Bomber history so his leaving didn't upset me after the 1966 season. However, all Bomber fans at that time older than me were sure sad. But there was nothing they could do. I do remember Ray Jauch leaving for the USFL's Washington Generals in 1982. He damned well announced he was leaving during the mid point of that season while still coaching here which is the height of arrogance. He became a lame duck coach. Someone who ran out on his city, his team, his players & the fans. All for money. As a fan, I felt angry & betrayed. especially as we were knocking on Grey Cup's door. We had a very, very good football team & Jauch just walked away..... to a last place team in a failing new league. Not a lot of people shed a tear for Ray Jauch after he left. The question became, "How are we going to replace Ray Jauch & with whom???" I'll let you answer that question as all of you should know what happened. Bottom line is if a coach wants to leave then let him. Just move on.
  7. So then, why can't our coordinators come up with a new game plan? Because they can't adapt on the fly. They can't make changes.
  8. Sounds like a spirit coming thru the spirit box to talk to Zak Bagans.
  9. I don't think O'Shea makes bonehead decisions but Hall & LaPo sure do.
  10. Can't you say the same thing about the Liberals spending to target boutique things to blatantly buy votes? When voters don't hold politicians accountable for irresponsible spending then the governing party can just spend it's way to power every election. To never have balanced budgets is just a disgusting way to govern & it seems most Canadians east of Manitoba are so stupid that they just buy in. Hook. Line. Sinker.
  11. If O'Shea wants a bigger pay day in Toronto then he can go. If he can get more $$$ elsewhere then I say good for him. It won't be the end of the world if he leaves. It's not like he's won anything here. Not even a West Division championship. He's replaceable & so are his coaches. I say buh bye.
  12. Nothing stays the same. Things change. It's inevitable. You adapt or you die. Oh yeah, life goes on. Long after the thrill of living is gone. You walk on.
  13. Enjoyed watching AEW: Dynamite. I never watch NXT as I really don't care but this show caught my interest. Great to see some former WWE wrestlers again like Cody Rhodes, Chris Jericho, Moxley, Pac (Neville) & Jack Swagger (Jake Hager). I also enjoyed Tony Schiavone & JR on commentary. Interesting that they didn't have any backstage/locker room banter to set up the storylines. I wonder if that is something to come? I'm sure it will.
  14. Guess we'll find out how good or bad Fajardo is against our defense. And how well Streveler plays as well to prove O'Shea's confidence in him. A ton is on the line in this game.
  15. Drove down the hole after you thinking you had the cheque.
  16. You sure? I think you're seeing quadruple.
  17. You have a small but cult like following.
  18. If Walters traded for Collaros then it would have proven that he had utterly lost his mind.
  19. Ken Stabler heard more than voices in his head when he played & was paranoid. He lived along the Gulf Coast of Alabama because he thought people were out to kill him IIRC. The paranoia fueled by drug use. But he won a Super Bowl.
  20. You're the one that needs to relax as you jumped on me immediately like what I said was blasphemy. Right away you asked, Who would I replace MOS with? Like I have a magic answer. I don't know who is out there to replace anyone but status quo just can't be maintained with year after year of failure. It's not my job to find the next HC. That would be up to Walters. But we shouldn't keep coaches just by default. If they don't win after 6 seasons then it's time to move on. All of our people in the front office from Wade Miller down to Kyle Walters, scouts , Mike O'Shea & his coaches should be feeling the heat that if there is another year of failure as jobs may be on the line. I don't get a sense this is the case at all.
  21. If AEW can push the WWE to be better because their product is better & vice versa then that will be a great thing. True competition will bring out the best for both companies.
  22. I just remember Nash giving up the WCW title to Hogan with the finger point to the chest. Hall went down like he was shot & then they laughed about it. That was the end really of WCW for all intents & purposes.
  23. Oakland lost 6 straight AFC Finals. How many Western Finals have we been to in the past 6 years? One. I know what you're trying to say but the Bombers of today are nowhere near as dominant as the Raiders were in the 70's. At least their fans had great expectations during those 6 seasons of maybe going to the Super Bowl every year & winning it. We have little or no expectations of getting to the Grey Cup & winning it. Fans expect to lose.
