I've read that estimates of only about 1-2 million per team which would help but not turn the Big 3 profitable. They'd still be losing lots of money. The tv contract needs to be rdone to refelect the advertising $$$ & revenues coming in. Teams need more money. I believe that TSN & Bell are sitting on the profits.

Surprised the 215 FN kids buried in mass graves at a residential school in Kamloops hasn't triggered a discussion here. As much as federal, provincial & civic governments need to bear heavy responsibility for this, so does the Catholic Church who ran these schools. Sadistic nuns & pedo priests seem to be the story of these schools. These kids were sexually assaulted, beaten & lived in such cramped conditions that diseases like influenza & tuberculosis ran rampant which seems to be what killed most of the children as young as THREE. . What did these kids or their families do to deserve that?? How can things be made right after 100-150 years??? Just so sad. ******* politicians & ******* religion.

Dr. Bohemier was my chiropractor back in 1979. His cousin worked with me & recommended him. I went to see Bohemier about my left knee that I had injured badly 4 years earlier. He was a sane young chiropractor with a busy practice on Provencher Blvd at the time. He's certainly become unhinged since which is sad to see. Don't know what would have radicalized him although some chiropractors hate anything to do with medications for things like pain, swelling or to return to better health. I remember that he was indeed like that believing manipulation can cure everything as it all has to do with spinal cord health. I stopped going to him when it looked like my treatments were never going to stop. I asked him after 3 weeks of twice a week appointments how many more treatments I'd still have to come for as my knee wasn't improving & he couldn't answer me. I felt like I was being scammed. I was definitely turned off chiropractic for the rest of my lifr so far & have used a chiropractor only once or twice since. I started going to physiotherapists instead & still do today with much better results.

I used to be a loyal watcher of NCIS until both Agent Ziva David & then Tony left. I've tried to get back into the series again a few times but just can't do it. Another long time regular character left yesterday Agent Bishop... who replaced David. Some of the reasons thy've given fior these characters leaving over the years has just so lame & not believable at all which is why I stopped watching. With Bishop, it's because she's been training for some undercover mission the past decade so she leaked some Top Secret NSA documents back then to give her the cover of being a disgraced NCIS agent. Then they blew up the boat that Gibbs has been working on for years with him in it on a lake. he was shown floating in the water presumably dead & then magically coming back to life swimming away. I just went whatever... Now, it's becoming a fantasy procedural. Gibbs is now a zombie. I just don't get how NCIS keeps on being the most popular show on television.

When asked by Licia Corbella of the Calgary Sun/Herald how he can say that waiting 4 months or more for a second Covid shot is safe based on science when we're the only country in the world waiting longer than 3 months for our second shot? How can he be sure that we won't get reinfected because we don't know how long immunity lasts with the first dose? In response, he yammers on about our second dose rate of 9.2% being the best in Canada & the fact a scientific study in England shows that waiting 12 weeks for the Astra Zenica shot makes it more effective. We've stopped here in Alberta with Astra Zenica shots as if somehow that vaccine applies to Pfizer & Moderna as well. He fails to mention no study shows the Pfizer & Moderna shots are as effective at 16 weeks. Just total BS answer with this science business. He has no clue. This is no science. This is all politics.

I don't trust anything this goof says. They talked about everything but the positivity rate. Never even mentioned. Been through this 3 times with our **** stain Premier. Close reopen close. Most of us haven't even had our second shots. This is all about having the Calgary Stampede.

We have the same here. Kenney talks a big game about enforcement here & then does nothing because he's afraid of upsetting his base by arresting pastors who seem to have their flock under some kind of mind ciontrol. His wanting to cut nurses & ICU beds once the pandemic is over is just crazy. Because we live in a country of few natural disasters, war, religious persecutions & insurrections. Our lives are mostly peaceful so people get lulled into a false sense of security & governments can use that as an excuse to pass along their political agendas.

Agreed. Pallister needs to be held accountable. These deaths were totally preventable. To me, it's a criminal act. His government killed them. So, what's going to happen now? kenney wants to do the same here after lamenting how he didn't want to see the ICU be overrun. He wants to cut healthcare... still.
