That's a much better solution.
Still prefer we keep the pick, just wondering if someone would come in with an offer we couldn't refuse (or where we couldn't still get 'our' gu).
Start shuddering because Hutch and Stuart are both signed for next year. (Maybe Vegas needs a gritty old timer on the blue line making too much money?)
I bet they re-sign Thorburn, unless they think they've got a Mooseketeer that fill the role. Hopefully, the Jets can just move past the enforcer type this offseason.
BTW - Mooseketeer - love that line but forget who to credit.
Thing with Buff is, you get good Buff when you play him less.
Give him 22-24 minutes tops each game and you'll get the good Buff.
Then you trade him when his stock is up.
This is a hilarious string of comments.
How is Stanley a wasted pick?
Trouba still has another year and will be an RFA for a few more after that. He may not want to be here but the Jets still control him and can obviously get good assets in return if they dealt him.
We still have two of the highest rated goalie prospects in Helle and Comrie.
One analysis I heard recently was interesting. It said that Morrissey was too smart and thought too fast for the AHL and couldn't adapt as well to the erratic paly . In the NHL, the players are smarter and doing things more predictably and at a higher level and Morrissey thrives in that situation.
Not sure I buy that but it is an interesting theory.
