What I really like about the Bob, Ed, Doug trio is that they're not trying to be provocative. One of the most off-putting things for me is when a broadcaster tries to sell everything or sounds like they're trying to get a reaction. I would accept that more from Doug because he adds perspective and colour. However, they don't do that. They don't need that to be engaging. Rod P does that. Everything for him is about reactions and it's horrible. He is the ef'n worst. Barf.

Debate was terrible. That format doesn't work. Blow up the consortium.

There is something about Darren's delivery. I am not a fan. Also, it always feels as though he's trying to sell me something. I like him and think he provides good insight but I do not care for his delivery.

I think people overestimate how many Rider fans actually travel for this game. Lots, yes, but not as many that fill the stands. Media likes to say that Rider fans travel well but it's actually many Rider fans leave Saskatchewan and live elsewhere. Point being, there will still be lots of Rider green (and Rider tears) on Saturday.

None of those three receivers appear on the depth charts for their NFL teams. Not the PR or the IR. Interesting. I wonder when they update those rosters because the Bills said that they re-signed Duke, after he cleared waivers and put him on the IR?

I think he's at an advanced stage, which is why he's missed some time for personal reasons. At least, that's what I believe has happened. If he wasn't happy here or with his role, I don't think he would still be here. Booch - what are they doing with Geoff? He ran more in the previous games. Only 8 carries in the LDC, for 44 yards. His runs: Q1 -1 yard. Q2 0 yards 16 yards 10 yards Q3 4 yards 11 yards 0 yards Q4 4 yards I'm missing one but it's not in the log as far as I can see. It would be for 4 yards if the total stats are correct. Didn't really give him a chance to get going. 3 of his 8 runs were 10+ yards. EDIT: Found the 4 yard rush. After the fumble, in the Q3, by CF.

The problem with the current Liberal platform is not the platform itself but the messenger. Even if you like (or liked) Trudeau he's lost his shine and he's not changing. He's becoming toxic, the way Harper became toxic. People are sick of him. There is no middle party right now. The CPC are definitely not in the middle. A centrist party wouldn't deny the existence of human made climate change with the generations of scientific evidence. A centrist party wouldn't have the campaign run by a gun-nut lobbyist. You can have a leader that espouses centrist ideas but the party is not centrist.

That's what I think they're doing. That is our biggest hole, IMO, if everyone is healthy.

I tend to agree with this. You need the fringe parties to pull the full-wackos out of the mix. Reform party started as wackos though and eventually absorbed the PCs, while keeping the wackos.

What do the Riders do differently this week? I would say that their special teams was fine last week and probably doesn't need much work. How do they get CF going on offense? What adjustments can they make to help stop the run? Is Micah back this week?

Hamilton got better after that special teams TD. I thought, prior to that, it was anyone's game. Both had their moments. Calgary should have had a defensive touchdown, IMO, which may have changed the momentum. I'm picking both of those teams to rebound and win next weekend. They should be entertaining games, though.
