Keys to the game, Remember the Run. Haven't had a dominant run game in a long time this year. Especially with logan back in, we have to run the offence through the run game. Any given back up, gotta beat em. We've seen just about every back up qb tear us up over the years. Gotta take advantage of the als missing qb1 and let the D feast. The replacements, gotta succeed. Lots of change this year in the secondary, ol, wr, and rb/back up. Aside from vaval as a KR, we haven't found that great next guy up this year. We could really use that, but barring that we atleast gotta have guys step up to be stalwarts for us. Players to watch, Wallace, rando, Logan, WJ (quiet out side of his big game this year) the wrs with schoen back practicing hopefully it motivates guys to step up, and the secondary. Any of em could be victims to brutal calls again, but we have a more talented group than we started the year with. A younger group too, who should at some point show flashes or more than flashes even.

kola has been screwing up more snaps than that this year each game. also eli had one pre season of snap difficulty mainly one game.

i love seeing a guys hustle and motor pay off. especially a canadian linemen.

i’d say he was average for the cfl as a lt. which considering he is a G andy as been a project at T for the nfl and us is not a bad sign. he was really good at G this year. he’s worth developing at T and is definitely the future right now. in a perfect world i’d have rando at lt as he’s much better in pass pro and vanterpool at rt. but they didn’t do as well last year when pushed into battle at those sides. but it was a bad situation and early for both. either that, or wallace maybe kicks out to rt, or manu comes up. wallace also moves well and has seen snaps at C here and could play that despite his size. We need to keep looking for imp ol especially tackles, and canadians as always. but we have good options and modularity. i think we can see a fast turn around on the ol when kola/bryant/neuf pack it in. adams has been good, but his snaps have dipped hard. the 3 end front, and all the two canadian dls have ravaged his snaps.

It sucks, I really Like Ayers and Jjones too. But we refuse to use them on D, and you just can't bury all your DI talent with guys who don't contribute on D/O. On teams, Ayers has seen a ton of double teams this year and is still making solid plays. I think his value for a purely Teams Di is the highest of anyone outside of Sergio. Maaaaaan, getting Woods on and Thomas off would be HUGE for our D. Woods and Adams inside more would be incredible. Take Kyrie out, and roll with the Jones' and Ayers with the Dime/wil package. And get Shay/Smith in some as well. Then the DL with Lawson and Schmek to rotate inside, Person and put bailey on to rotate on the edge. That front would be devastating to other teams Os. Getting Dandy on would be huge as well. Griffin is such a gem, excels in any play call, position, no matter who you have around him. He's Nichols 2.0. I'm interested to see what we do with Vanterpool when he is healthy again. I'm not sure Wallace will be coming off.

Unfortunately, we haven't been using Jjones much. I would expect him to come off as a DI before Ayers at this point. I would also bet that someone like Ball is more likely to come off for Lawson. Thomas would be the dream, but I dare not hope for that.

I wonder if we take a DI Lber off the AR for Logan, and carry both he and Vaval. Logan would be the 2nd return guy on Kick offs and could be a rotational piece on O. Atleast in theory any way. Don't really want to see Schoen back till he is at what ever his new 100% is.

Yeah, I agree with most of that. I think most teams, when they have MBT starting, are in a position they don't want to be in. With his combination of age, experience and what I've seen of his intangibles, I don't think he will be a lot more than what we have seen from him between edmonton and toronto. If you can really cook up an offence around him that deals with his deficiencies, you can have a productive offence. But he nor that O will be what carries you to wins. I would still be happy if we worked a trade for him with strevy. I like strevy, but I think our room needs a shake up and I don't think he has a chance with the disciples of lapo here. MBT on the other hand did his best work with jackson. They might be trying to hide him in order to protect some value in a trade, more than the money. Despite the spreading out of starters and back ups, we've seen a ton of QB injuries and some one is likely to over pay out of need later in the year. It sucks about Alexander, this could've been a big year for him. The league needs guys like that to suceed.

We use Schmekel in the heavy set OL package without the 7th OL on the Roster. Then we also have MCI, and a bunch of tweener size guys to pick from. We don't need more size / extra Ol on the roster. And eli wasn't getting manhandled lol. Eli and Schmekel played really well in their heavy set pack. At this point, we are drastically better off dressing Schmekel, than Vibert.

The league has seen plenty of db injuries, and no one else has brought him in. I like Dandy coming back. he was one of the guys that should’ve stuck in camp. Sucks that cooley is gone, but we can barely make use of brady, and peterson has shown he has legit talent. wouldn’t mind if cooley is back in camp if he doesn’t get picked up. Im glad we’ve made moves, i wish we brought in more wrs though. that’s a bigger hole than db.

wouldn’t say an easy one, but one he should have. also, we’ve seen a few more drops settling in the last month or so. and wrs struggle to be in the right spot. a lot of that execution comes down to coaching and depth. we saw it before when roosevelt came in. prior a lot of guys had trouble with drops. sheed and demski especially. suddenly every one is playing to keep their spot and have to step up. and they did.
