The producer/director is certainly at the the core of the problem. Milts “character” is extremely cringe inducing. I wonder if it ever actually changes though. I assume tsn doesn’t really care what they do as long as it remains cheap enough.

If Strev is indeed going to miss the beginning of next year I wouldn’t be surprised to see us add a league qb even if zach stays. That said it might be dole if he shows well late in the year and they like him.

Yep that’s all an excellent addition. For QBs like Fajardo, getting their timing down on timing routes is huge.

As in his follow up year as a starter. It’s a bit different for QBs since they generally sit for 1-2 years or some times more. QBs have a bit of an advantage when they first break out. It takes until their 2nd year for teams to have game film from playing them, with a game plan well built around them. That’s why the Sophmore jinx at qb is a thing. The team has built the offence around them and isn’t experimenting with installs week to week. Teams prepare for that qb and that offence, with film from playing them and other teams playing with that prep.

I get that bc couldn’t let him walk else where. vaj has never been consistent or been able to win in the clutch. The real dumb thing bc did was throwing Rourke right in. They should’ve held him back a month easily while he built chemistry with the team again, learned the play book etc. even vaj missing shouldn’t have been met with instant Rourke play. He’s going into his sophomore play in the worst way possible.

I mean she doesn’t get lost in the noise of the panel because she is the dominant source of noise on the panel. The game gets lost in her noise, and that’s what people (like my self) hate. Others like milt and Sanchez get pulled into her gravity to the point it’s all very loud with out any thing interesting to say. Which washes out any actual good points and conversation. Daikun, lets the content be the star of the show. daikun is like salt and pepper on a steak. Makes it better but you don’t particularly taste or crave the salt n pepper. Kate, is like pouring an entire bottle of cheap ketchup on to a wagyu ribeye. (So is milt, who has less of value to say every year)

That stuff works great on regional broadcasts. Like in baseball. But on nationally televised games on a national station it’s gotta be treated with more professionalism. That’s the biggest knock I have on tsn. The whole thing smacks of a regional broadcast of bush league crap where having fun is more important than doing the job. That’s part of the brilliance of bob irving. Even as a long term bomber broad caster, he was never badly bent. He called a spade a spade if the team was good or bad and was never a fan boy.

As messed up as it is, I don’t want the elk to win. If we clinch with two games and a bye im worried we will lift off the gas too hard. I want atleast one more game with meaning.

I think bc will take the best value. Beggars can’t be choosers in the cfl. Most of the league will wait for vaj to get nasty and force a move where bc likely cuts him. I wonder if tor brings back mbt, or if Calgary brings him in.

Our 3rds are turds. Long past time for new alternates. Any of the classics like this would be great.

Gonna be a big qb reshuffling in the offseason. It’ll be interesting to see how it all boils down.

Nichols and ford are both hands down better dbs. With all our guys healthy, Milligan maybe makes our roster. I’ve never seen a db soo hyped up on tackles. Even holm is just behind Milligan in tackles. No one is talking about him being on of our best dbs. He’s our worst, though still good. for modp it’s a joke. For mop, sickening. Brady and brown are the two best players in the league at their position. Positions historically dominated by imps. They both play on the hottest and best team in the league. Both instrumental in the longest win streak in the league. If either was on another team theyd get the Rourke treatment.

I’d a been happy if they let Wilson do the job the whole time. Having the qb2 do it is just pointless risk. I mean Hamilton had litre doing it.

They gave up one big run and that’s it. The dl when Jake was off flashed excellent play. Even when fatboi was at 3i with 3 ends he did ok. If we would stop putting out 2 Canadians at the same time in the front 6 and split Thomas’ reps down to a reasonable amount we’d be in good shape for pressure and gap canceling. It’s wild some times. Wilson got like 3 cracks at it once. Then they fast whistled and called it a td any way lol.

Streveler never ran the wedge. Every single time he was running that off the side plunge. They don’t get cute with Wilson. The ol has also played the best ball of the last 2 years in the last two games.

I was doing that and stopped for none suitor games. I need to go back to it. if we win the gc this year, they will kill the feed and just show the maple leafs arena even with out a game on. The national media 3dn crew etc will all fall into the deepest depression. It’s funny the other teams with stints on top didn’t seem to have the vitriol we do. The stamps, the riders stretch etc. forget the Ontario bias.

The Tait turning point (screw tsn) Bolo busts the 71 yard gain, griffin makes a great stop at the 1, then the turning point. Scoring from the 1 is near automatic. Garbutt blows up the play with a stop for a 4 yard loss. Taking the cats out of sneak in range forced them to throw and gave Kramdi the chance to make a huge play.

If only they could stop being the dumpster fire of the league we could. Griffin better go into the line up if ba misses time.
