  1. ehh depends on the school and even then that can evaporate pretty quickly. Hes in a good situation doesnt have to rush to make any decisions, he can just go out play football and let avenues open for him.
  2. what i mean is hes a head hunting hard hitting core special teams guy. His play style is hebert. But at his speed he might be able to play saftey if no other db was available. his fastest 40 timed was 4.43 though most of his pre work outs where low 4.5, the way he gets down field on coverage is un real for a man his size. Gavin walls in his type of rush end. a pure pass rusher whose under sized for the nfl but an athletic monster with a great motor. Yeah he doesnt have a ton of starting experience but coming out of a strong system never hurts.
  3. http://www.bluebombers.com/2016/08/22/bombers-add-de-eric-martin/ http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1599347-eric-martin-scouting-report-nfl-outlook-for-nebraska-olb Looks like a great athlete who bulked up some in the nfl. A true rush end but spent of his nfl time at OLB, as he was considered too small to play DE. Looks like a high up side guy. Glad we arent resting on our success, and hoping guys like green turn into some thing. http://www.fieldgulls.com/nfl-draft/2013/4/11/4184840/nfl-draft-2013-seahawks-sleepers-de-eric-martin-nebraska Sounds like his up side is a cross between kyries hebert and gavin walls. Hard hitting guy who has played a ton of special teams.

xD it was a pretty terrible job of scoring any way. conor won the 4th for certain and destroyed in the 1st and 2nd. The 2nd should have been a 2 point round with 2 knock downs and a ton of damage. Tons of finishes, but aside from high lights you didnt miss much. Rumble is savage, why you go at that guy early ill never know. Eh hes easily swept up in the momentum of the fight. He was heavy on mcgs nutts early and diaz late. Though the 5th was really close and that take down late was any thing but big. I hope to see him move to fight companion full time sooner rather then later. Hes entertaining and I like him but he isnt the guy to do that job. Yeah I had it 49-46 though 49-47 is very easily possible too. Who ever had it 47-47 should be fired from any sort of judging.

mcggigles vs dopiaz 2 tnite. Feel like this card is under whelming in terms of name power. Though it has a couple guys who bring it.
  9. yeah thats allways a recipe for disaster too. Or the fast track for ending up in montreal next season.
  10. yeah it does. Did hank take less money in the off season or is he still on a massive deal?
  11. I have no idea what a premium HC is earning in the cfl these days. I imagine thats a lot though. Like top couple. Man if we sweep the riders in ldc/bjb this is gonna be the high spot for the blue since swaggerville. Maybe better.
  12. I dont think he even makes it to the off season. Would be too much distraction and wasted money on the bench. The veteran guarantee day is the latest i see him leaving. Not sure there will be a trade. Short of some one having a qb go down.
  13. agree. Hank still has flashes in him for sure. But I think hes too much of a gambler and harris is flat out better.
  14. Didnt harris say hes healthy and ready to go? I get the ott loyalty to hank. But the change is a coming. Hes allways had a good head on his shoulders. I think his days are close to done in mtl, as they are getting close to falling out of the play off picture. But hes still got some time in the league left in him.
  15. Going back multiple seasons for team trends is very over rated imop. Unless you have two teams with a long held management and talent core which we dont see very often any more.
  16. I hope the riders get another fine after tnite so pederson can rage some more xD
  17. This. we still arent half way through the season. We went from last to in contention in just a few weeks. Edm has under performed, but they have the talent to make it work.
  18. We dont mix a lot of zone in, what zone we play is mostly match zone any way. We seldom run cover 0 as we dont all out blitz often. Lofflers been playing deep since he went in. That said a safety in the cfl doesnt supply a ton of help for blown coverage. 5-6 wrs seldom less then 2 running deep to medium long routes. Its really tough for teams that dont play a ton of zone. But its not like hes just blowing coverage a lot, hes getting beat. Which is why he may well still be playing hurt. Especially with how banged up we allready are. if we get fully healthy trading some of our dbs could net us some thing really good. That said what we really need isnt in great supply. NI ol, wr, a high end qb prospect to groom etc. This year certainly seems to be even harder on wr/dbs for injuries league wide. But who knows if we can get 100% healthy.
  19. what a crazy game this has turned into. Combined 7 passing tds, roughly 747 passing yards, 12 sacks, 3 fr, 1 pic and avg net punts of 29/33 yards.
  20. over simplification. If we didnt have a horse shoe in the rear amount of turn overs we wouldnt be on a 3 game win streak.
  21. Normally you pick on the rookies. We saw some of that early to no effect, johnson has been beat like a red headed step child the last two weeks. Luckily it didnt come back to haunt us too much.
  22. certainly beats the pants off of arguing about why we are losing and what we have to do to win doesnt it? A optimist can seldom recognize a realist, same with a pessimist. Starting by saying you have to recognize your X accept im right about it or your wrong and then we can debate is pretty silly. That said its good for any one to openly recognize their own nature and the nature of who they are talking too as it makes things much clearer. But like I said a pessimist and an optimist tend to see each other through some bubbles esq coke bottle lenses.
  23. certainly worth keeping around for teams and leadership. That said we have such an embarrassment of riches at DB it wont be easy to do so. Johnson has been getting picked on hard last couple games. He might be a candidate for a scratch to see if a shake up helps, or maybe hes playing banged up. Frederick and randal 100% have to be in the line up if healthy. Fogg will be as healthy too. Though if we can move him to extra db / DI it would probably be best. He makes big plays in the secondary but hes a gambler. He seemed to be getting spread a bit thin the last 2 games too. Gotta keep him healthy. I think we get our best pieces in, try and hold on to and hide the rest for a bit rotate through till we find the best secondary out of what we have then see if we cant trade a guy or two.
  24. the way you win and lose is the difference between long term sustained winning, a franchise turn around, and 2014s return to mediocrity. The fact we lost close scores despite being heavily out played in a few aspects of the game early one leads one to believe it is for real. Teams that are turning it around are usually in that lose close games badily niche. A team that ends the season with less wins and squeezes in can often be in a much better position then a team that dominated early and fell arse backwards into the play offs too. There are asterisks in all sports, but they wont over come a lack of loses. Certain types of fans become soo averse to losing that any thing moderately realistic or pessimistic is treated like an attack on the team and fandom in general. While any thing involved in winning is clearly worthy of all exaltation. Objective is seldom involved when it comes to the masses after a long toxic period.
