  1. no but you have to have a ni to back up a NI other wise if one goes down mid game you lose a DI and have to shuffle the line up when your allready down bodies.

No one in the womens divisions is a good all round fighter. they are all stand up or ground fighters. HH has shown to be a great boxer and showed great take down defense in the past. Shevchenko thrashing her on the feet was a bit of a surprise but shes a legit talent. The womens division is like early ufc, cant take losses too seriously or hard. same with mens HW division. its all about who you beat today that erases the past and gives you a shot in the future. Shevchenko lost to nunes this year but shes 1 fight away from a title bout.
  3. yeah cus they have soo many more wins then we do
  4. I can feel the nervousness of the its all willys fault toxic group as they get to see nichols in edm. wonder how many games of excuses he will get before full panic sets in. im guessing hes gonna be between 2-3 tds and the same for pics. Hit around 10 times. Hard to beat a team all three meetings out of the year nichols may pull it out in edm. I hope mos doesnt panic pull nichols for willy though.
  5. they wont start corney with out another ni to back up both ends. we should but mos wont.
  6. we saw some of it in the 1 win. Moving the pocket, half roll full boot, slide protection shovel passes etc. idk why we stopped using them.

what a massive upset win for shevchenko over HH. She allready lost to amanda nunes the current womens champion earlier this year so im sure shes one more win away from a title shot. But whats it mean from HH now? cybro? edson barbosa is in serious contention now too. Ngannou 3-0 in the ufc with 3 kos. Fun guy to watch with lots of up side.
  8. every win is a stay of execution for a head coach. Most coaches are only one half season away from getting fired in the cfl. Mos has been in that performance range his entire tenure here. This management groups seems to want to stick with him who knows for how long.
  9. against the run? hes an ol not a dl. And no he was solid before this year in which the whole line has looked bad.
  10. pretty soon we might be starting all fresh faces in the secondary any way It really makes me wonder about some of our offense that wylie isnt able to turn this around.
  11. welcome to the BB bandwagon. Its gonna get crowded as soon as nichols gets a start. Yes masoli is.
  12. Yeah some times a player needs a change of scenery some times management makes the wrong/poor decisions or some times choices just dont work out. g-c is a huge change, its completely different then any other position on the OL. You go from either pulling, pushing up a level to zone block, or most of the time blocking your man one on one, to all of that plus pre snap read, adjusting and calling out blocking assignments, blitz pick up, snapping the ball (snap to gun isnt nearly as easy as it looks) and having to do the switches and helping the guards with there blocks. Knowing when some one is gonna switch and be ready to pick it up etc. Neufeld was a tackle who played 6th man in sask. Like i said its easier for a tackle to play inside then a guard to play out side. He played 9 games last year here filling in at guard. But he's a natural tackle. Chances of us trading for any starter quality OL is few and far between sadly. There isnt much available and what might come available would cost an arm and a leg. Im worried as is that chung will walk at the end of the season. Id love to see us get henoc move mo to S and start an extra imp on the ol. And tbh id have my trigger finger ready as soon as nfl cuts begin to air lift in imp OL.
  13. doesnt mean he can be a consistant snapper, if he could have been there he would have been. Do you recall any of the guys we tried to convert to centre in the last 10 years or so? Havent seen the foot work or quickness from him to play tackle no. Not to mention its very different mechanically. We struggle with in side protection trying to slide a guard out side isnt a good idea. In general tackles can play guards but most guards arent tackles. Neufeld was solid here too before this year. Just couldnt stay healthy. neufeld is a tackle not a guard. Screen passes arent a problem, the lack of run plays is. And as i said, thats walbys opinion. Keeping at centre would improve the team. Hes far from the best centre in the league, but his strengths knowing how and when to switch picking up blitz and communicating such is exactly what goossen is struggling at. Thats the hardest part of playing C. Bond has dressed for one game, as has adams. It says more about our depth at those positions. They have hardly been able to practice for the past month + they are both far from 100% and neither is ready or capable of stepping in and starting.
  14. since when can bond snap? or hardrick play tackle? The same bond who isnt healthy and played 1 half of one pre season game? Paddy neufeld is a proven solid guy. Chung on his own has been good and is a very good ol. Bryant of course. And the injured jeff keeping. The ol plays as less then the sum of its pieces. If bryant or chung was cut today, before the end of the day they would be signed and starting on one of several other teams. And of our four aside from hardick would be starting on another team this year. Keeping too. The problem is they arent playing well together and arent communicating or picking up the blitz. Walby says repeatedly in the pre games on 1290 that these guys need more established run plays and to get to tee off on the D. All the screen passes are still pass pro. They just get steam rolled and worn out.
  15. if it wasnt for that we'd never have odds n sods. that said i made it about 5 words into this post.
  16. the perfect recollection of DD would be unnecessary roughness roughness penalties.
  17. how many Olines have turned the 2nd best rb in the league last year into a 2 yards per carry guy getting hit in the back field on every other play? the OL has been brutal most of this year. Its a fact not an opinion. The entire offense has been bad, but the OL is allways the primary limiting factor in the cfl. Depth picks hit, its the nature of a draft. Thats like every team in the nfl passing on tom brady 6-7 times.
  18. wes lysack scott regimbald and joe first half flemming. never forget. wick makes me think of antonio armstrong. Talk about here today gone tomorrow. Randy "fum"bowles troy mills and eric blount for splitting touches with charles roberts. brendan ayenbadejo not good enough to start here but one year iirc in bc after leaving our sts for a chance to start and he had a nice nfl career. yvenson bernard antonio brown mr ncaa d1 track star with 4.18 speed. Had one great leaping catch i wanna say from tee martin. joe morgan a vaunted prospect from the supplemental draft by way of south florida. arjei franklin the heir apparent at one point for NI wr. and of course my favorite name of the flash in the pans chiijoke onyenegecha
  19. good coverage is PI these days. Lookin at the wr? thats a PI. thinkin bout hittin the wr? thats a pi. get pushed off by the wr? oh you bet thats a PI.
  20. every game we lose whole team has to sit in front of that picture of him laid out naked on a fur in front of the fire. never lose again.
  21. doesnt matter how mobile you are when the pressure comes straight up the gut with your feet set at the snap in a shot gun or pistol formation. Also running qbs tend to take more damage then pocket passers.
  22. Thats the big one. Toronto who most recently did it best mixed in match zone and zone blitzs a lot too. You gotta have wrinkles. All of which our D lacks. If we didnt gap cancel to try and stop the run our front would get better pressure though.
  23. mack came into a considerably better team then walters. and it evaporated quickly to say the least. Who after harris? jamaal westerman you know the guy who was 2nd in the league in sacks last year as a rookie. No team has been built through free agency? The argos with doug flutie would beg the differ. How much of that hammy team is free agents? What about ottawa turning into a contender right away with free agency? Teams make off season power shifts through free agency all the time. Walters was one of the guys, what you can clearly see is the way we drafted under mack is completely different to how we draft under walters. How many guys do we have sitting in the nfl hoping to trickle down form walters? How many from mack? How many mack draftees are on the roster?
