Adams worked a full practice with the offense. Which is a great sign. I suspect he may rotate in place of knight. Not full starter reps I think they'll ease him into it. He's missed a lot of reps and conditioning. Getting Darvin back and moving him into wolis wide out spot and moving woli to sb would be huge. Harris took offensive reps for the first time in weeks today. Yesterday he took 1 on 1 reps. Harris I think would be a ld or bjb return If all goes well.

With Grant on the 6 game I hope we look at another return man. Maybe activate devonte Williams. Nelson has had 1 good return but we've faced some big legs but Nelson is under 20yards per ko return. And a shade over 10 on punts.

Could be atrophy in his throwing arm. He may have recovered really late and never gotten his arm in shape. I don't see him over coming that in two weeks though.

I think the big question is what are they gonna do for a venue to play at.

He's had some block and release stuff but yeah not much for looks. When collaros scrambles or is pressured he looks to beat the d down field. He doesn't look for the short release valve. In the past that was our go to read. For sure. Brady as a lead blocker could do some damage. The misdirection and ability to stretch the defence out laterally could open a whole lot in the seams and down field.

Yeah Brady has to develop as a pass catcher. But he is excellent as a blocker. Still some decision making improvements to be made but he's a beast blocking.

Pressure is the primary way to counter qbing. You don't just out qb the pressure every time. No matter what qb. Good qbing can allow you to stand in against the rush and put up a pass if you have a quick release but if you don't have time to pin point a deep ball that isn't just gonna change. Mbts release was much slower than Masoli whose among the fastest at getting it out of his hand.

The thing the guys in the booth missed on those over throws was the pressure from our dl. Masoli did the same.

His ol also had 230 to 250lbs guys. Different eras don't work to compare. Every state champion team for the past 20 years had decent size play books. Execution is important. But in the modern era you have a very hard time beating people with checkers strategy when they are using tri level chess moves.

Glad fmb is getting another chance. We beat 2 top half teams. We knocked the cats down several pegs that's better than beating a top team. The whole front office. Atleast 2 other guys could be gm of their own team right now. And they all work like they do. It's the best shape the organization has been in in the modern era by far. We are soo deep at ol I could see him as a dt but if he doesn't just training under our ol and vs our dl will make for huge improvement.

They run blitzd us and are extremely good up the middle. All our success running came out side of the a and b gaps. We beat the blitz with come back routes but that doesn't stop the blitz. To stop it you have to beat em deep or with the run. A lot of teams are running heavier sets like Hamilton now. Either in an extra ol or two back set. We mostly chip a wr. I expect to see some progression in the coming weeks in our offense. Teams are not gonna play the pass and try to stop the run with 5 guys. Our ol is still great and Deep. Tors front 6 is as good as ours in run stopping. Right now I'd say these are the two best ds.

It's certainly not good over all coaching. Discipline goes hand in hand with head coaching. But Maas has done a good job this year with a game plan book and call that is good for Fajardo and covering up that oline. That's no easy feat. I think Dickenson is gonna be out soon enough and Maas their hc. Probably end of this year. Or if they have an extended losing streak. Leaving Fajardo in when the game was in hand and he had been rocked twice and limped off was the peak of bad coaching.

The cats where heavily depleted after playing us last week. We tilted that offense and they are now gonna be spiraling for weeks. What do you expect the riders are the most toxic fan base in Canada. With the least grey cups of any cfl city. Look at the trolling and yapping you guys are doing on the un beaten grey cup Champs forum here. When we got beat in the play offs by Calgary do you think we were like you guys on their forum? The riders could triple their number of cups catch up with the big boys and will still be the red headed step child of the league. Cus that's how rfs act. And it's true the riders are getting by with smoke and mirrors in the term it's good coaching. But good teams like ours can play containe and jump timing routes play robber bump and run etc all kinds of things to beat the gadget. At some point you have to be more than an offense dependant on gimmicks.
