You make a good point. Streveler doesn't need a full complement of plays. The added threat of running makes each play soo much more dynamic. Especially for a short period of time 2 games in 3 weeks. He wouldn't need more than a hand full of plays. We flip plays run the same plays out of different formations and and use pre and post snap motion to disguise what we do and create openings. He's the perfect qb here as a back up in a pinch.

Agree. I think they get ringmaiden or goveia.

I don't get how any one could want brown over McGuire. McGuire had a fraction of the playbook and ol vs a good pass rush d. Brown was like a deer In the head lights vs an anemic stamps pr d. Idk if I'd want brown to start in flag football with how he handled the ball.
-
Qft. Brown had all day. McGuire was constantly under fire. We had a 3rd string ol vs the team that lead in sacks compared to all the starters against a 3rd string cal dl when the starters were middle of the pack.
-
I'm not too worried about that. Plops playbook for strevy was horrid. He got worse under plop. I think a limited book for him under buck is world's better than the fake rpo dink n dunk plop had him doing. How much time did collaros have practicing here before he rostered then started 10 days and a week?
-
It'd be like when Jason Varitek went back to the red Sox with a full police escort and roads shut down.
-
Yeah but he could be a career back up on his physical tools. Would be great to see him here developing as a starter under collaros and buck.
-
Oh hell yes. Talk about cherry on top. Stevy comes home for a couple weeks hits up another gc party then he can chase another nfl back up job.
-
Old or new As reasonable as any out come. Never know in the cfl though. Could see more defensive scores than offensive
-
Could be the worst pair of semi final games in modern history.
-
I can't see the stumps beating the riders. I expect mtl ham to be close and unspectacular.
-
My only concern with platooning the 2 is bucks ability to work them both in and play them off each other. He's still very early in his development as an oc. I'm not worried about Harris not playing. I'd be more worried about him playing and being too banged up. But all 3 will be dressed any way. Worst case Ontario collaros can carry the offense and open up the running game. Been a long time since we've had that.
-
Milwaukee makes them too. Buy and extra battery and you'll be g2g

Sort of. A raw guy like brown would benefit from being behind a 2nd vet qb. If that qb doesn't need a lot of reps even better. But once you've been on the bench for a year it's a hindrance for sure. Honestly in the modern era we've seen lots of qbs step in and produce quickly. From blm to streveler to Mr heavy Balls in Edmonton. I think the expectation should be higher for rookie qbs. No one is gonna get the old year on the pr year on the bench then carefully eased into playing any more. Evans is still developing Imo. Maier is a young gun. The league actually has a good number of young experienced qbs. We will see who survives the meat grinder year 2 tho. Qft. Time to make it 3 qbs on the ar with one being Canadian.

Ya pretty much. We also subbed kyrie out a bunch late.

I haven't seen any particular ability to create separation from him or ability to do any thing with a cushion but he has great hands. Robert Gordon Esq up side. Even a small wr doesn't need to be a speed tool guy. He just has to make up for that else where. McKnight has guts and blocks his butt off. If he was 6 3 and 220 he'd be a blue chip prospect. I don't think Rosie really brings any thing McKnight doesn't so kinda makes sense. If we can retain Lawler Bailey demski and woli that's a great 4 man line up. Part of me would love to see lucky back in the off season but I'm not holding my breath. The Bombers have shown they can find and develop wrs. And now we have an offense that won't waste them. We had two really good guys in camp who looked like starters go down for the year too. So I'm not worried with the moves they make at wr depth.
-
Brown had all day especially compared gl McGuire. If brown had to play with what McGuire did and vs that als from it would've been catastrophic. I don't see this old guard of qbs sticking around as back ups. Every team would want a vet back up but next year I doubt any one has one.
-
They were playing 7 man box and we were playing double tight and even 2 wide formations. Not to mention a 3rd string dl vs starting ol...
-
Rose alford Jones and Darby were in with Houston for most of the 2nd half.
-
Did you skip the 2nd half of the game? 1 yard 2 yard 2 yards 8 yards minus 2 yards 4 yards 1 yard 6 yards 7 yards 5 yards and 0 yards. He ran for 148 yards 8 carries over 9 yards which made up 100 of those 148. He had 8 carries for 3 or less yards. 14 of his carries were for less than his ypc. Ring ring hey Brandon it's reality calling its looking for an apology from you. At this point both Brady and Augustine need to find more consistantcy before being the guy to replace Harris. But having both is a great luxury as even If Harris retires the year we can run a great platoon. And with augustines improved quickness and ability to break big runs assuming Harris is healthy for the wf augustine should still get reps and touches to spell Harris and create openings for him. Brown looked more uncomfortable just handling the ball than any pro debut in recent memory. Yes it was cold. But he had the full complement of starters minus Harris and our run game was strong before he came in. And he still couldn't do squat. McGuire had the poorest ol we've fielded in years.

52 yards in cold weather is not automatic or fair expectations. The fumble cost us an easy fg if not a td that's the big slip up.
-
If they can't support the 100 year old Argos a fly by night league with out any thing going for it that's folded twice isn't gonna do better. Plus the nfl is starting to kick around to.

1 OL. Top to bottom dominated the line of scrimmage. 2 Augustine. Tore up the first half, showed great toughness with a high volume of runs when the stamps packed the box after collaros left. 3 Castillo and legs. Castillo going 4/4 on 50 and less feels good to finally have a reliable kicker. Legs had a great night punting too. HH Eli running 30+ yards down field from behind to make the td saving tackle on the fumble by brown. Shades of larry allen. Block of the game. Gray running 20 yards down field around the edge to get the last block on augustines big run. Crunch of the game The soon to be MODP of 2021 biggie with a great hit on litre stopping him short of the first down and forcing a punt.

show blitz and drop not as big as the fumble in the 5 by brown
