  1. Very Well Said - I agr1ee 100% - The Bombers have too many issues that need fixing and I doubt much will get fixed this year.
  2. Amen! However the Bombers have been known to make rookie QB's look like an All Star when they first appear. And if their 4th string QB has some mobility we may be in for even more problems. We should be able to stay in the game and maybe pull out a win unless we really goof up on both sides of the ball.
  3. Amen! Super Bad Decision by our HC - I guess he will explain it away! While we are discussing coaching issues - how about finding a real OC? Got to be a better one out there than what we have.
  4. I agree with TB's thoughts - IMHO Ottawa has a large advantage over us if you look at their receivers vs. our D Backs! - It may be a long day for our defense as I doubt we will get much pressure on Dru. And they will probably get lots of pressure or Zac!
  5. True Dat! I was at the game (only attend a few a year here in Calgary). Bottom Line - Calgary has far more talent than the Bombers do and that IMHO is a fact that will not go away. On both sides of the ball at at just about every position other than RB the Stamps have a better team.
  6. Amen! And thoughts and prayers for the defence as they will have a hard time handling VA and the Stamps offense!
  7. A well rounded argument and I do agree with most of your points. However let's see what things look like say end of September after our back to back with the Riders. IMHO I do not believe the Bombers will be much better then they are today so time will tell.
  8. While I would love to agree with your comments I in all honestly, can not do so. After watching the Rider-Als game last night I believe the Riders are the real deal and IMHO it will be either Calgary or the Riders duking it out for a Grey Cup appearance in the Peg.
  9. I am afraid I have to agree with you. I would like to add that our Offensive Coordinator is clueless! That call near the goal line when Stev threw the Interception was the worse call I have ever seen. 2nd and short and you call a pass play? And all you need is a FG to really put the game away? What an dumb call.
  10. I agree. The defense looks a little better - but the offense really is a sad affair. No receivers that scare anyone and an OL that is poor at best. I doubt Streveler will scare anyone with his passing other that our coach.
  11. This pretty much summarizes my thoughts. The roster is just plain not good enough and if Bomber Management including the Head Coach does not see this then time to think about major changes at the top. Three weeks of total ineptness and enough if enough.
  12. Back up the Truck! Time to make some changes. Not sure what is in the cupboard but what we have on the field on both sides of the ball is just plain not good enough.
  13. Sounds like a good game plan. I believe we can win this one if we just don't screw up too many times. That is the great unknown IMHO - how many times will we screw up? But at end of day even a small victory would be greatly appreciated. I will take a field goal at the end to win it for us!
  14. Wait! What are you saying??? There is no Santa Claus????? 😁 But in all honesty I can not help but agree. We shall see what evolves today facing a poor Toronto team.
  15. I can not help but agree. Don't get the chance to post much here. Retirement is keeping me Uber busy. However IMHO this starting lineup as posted is the weakest Bomber Lineup I have seen in a very long time. No speed receivers, poor DL and OL, secondary is weak (and that is a complement) and I am not even sure about how effective our starting QB will be.
  16. Agree 100% Time to set a few vets. Heck I live in Calgary and I can not even remember many of the names on the Stamps lineup that were there last year. Calgary did a great job of recruiting based on what I have seen - The Bombers Recruiting?? did it happen???
  17. Finally back from an extended trip down way down south (Brazil) and back in good ol Canada - and finally able to catch up on things. And I agree the game with the Stamps will be a tough win for us IMHO. What really concerns me is the quality of our DL. I am starting to think both Jake and Willy may be past their "best before dates". But all in all great to be back in Canada and really happy to be able to watch some CFL games and get back in swing of things Bomberwise!!!!
  18. me too - thanks for the memories. Rich and I would always spar on the old Total-CFL site too.
  19. pretty much my thoughts have been expressed by most of the above. Nice discussion about nice guys - but nothing counts other than the win-loss record IMHO. Everything else is just Jibber Jabber.
  20. I agree with this. Winning changes everything and until MOS starts winning and making the playoffs the impression IMHO is that he is either covering up incompetence etc. And unfortunately that is the way it will be until the Bombers turn the ship around and start winning. And whether that will be with or without MOS is the burning question IMHO.
  21. Well if they finish 8-10 or 10-8 or 9-9 still probably 3-4 more wins the Kumbaya sing along MOSS group in the Peg. But the group hugs will be better in the Peg!
  22. very well Stroked!! Consistency is great if it translates into winning football. All I am seeing from the current management team is consistently losing football!
