No, just some people make excuses because they either don’t understand Harris is just flat out a better player, and or they are still crying about him leaving. Harris seems to make it work wherever he has been. Not a coincidence.

That’s fine, but neither one of these guys has shown consistently what Harris brings even at age 35.

It is interesting that the holes have suddenly closed up now that Harris is gone. Wonder if the two are correlated? He seems to just either read holes better or just make his own path. Our current RBs don’t really do either and are not really bringing anything to the table. Not even factoring in how much better Harris is at picking up blocks and receiving.

Agreed. I remember people claiming until about half way through 2019 that Willie wasn’t playing very well. He disrupts teams in many many measurable and immeasurable ways. Thst said, Biggie is still probably the MODP front runner and BA will be a huge addition when he gets back. HOFers at every level. Biggie and Willie are locks, and I think BA is one of the best safeties this league has ever seen.
