Little was strong, Laine takes the goal and points scoring lead for rookies and Matthias continues to be the hottest goal scorer on the Jets. I read some crazy stats on him yesterday.
You're right. I'd rather see Connor called up as well. Thing is, where do you put him? Connor Petan and Copp?

I know they played last night but Maurice kept the forwards to under 20 minutes a game so fatigue shouldnt be a factor. It is not a long trip from one city to the either so travel shouldn't come into it too much either.
Would love to see the MLA line start to put a couple into the net. they've sure been getting the chances.
I expect E-S-L and MP-L-W to put some in tonight too...Wheeler was on fire last night.
Stay outta the sin bin, play better D in our zone and smarter in the NZ and we should be okay.
We need this W and again in Buffalo. That would only put us on pace for 84 points but it would set us up for a HUGE game against the Flames next Monday and if they lose their next two we could be passing them by in the standings. A lot of ifs but it's all we got right now. We gotta start digging ourselves out of the hole now if they have any chance of making it to the playoffs.

TB had trouble with Ehlers' speed tonight.
If not for Helle, we are down by at least two coming out of the 1st.
Trouba had a really strong game.
I thought Scheif looked better than he has in awhile.
Armia could have had 4 and Matthias and Lowry could have had two each.
Excellent 2nd period.
Sure hope Helle gets the start tomorrow night.

I agree. I thought they were going to call a penalty shot 4 Army in the first.

I'm not sure what warrants a penalty shot anymore.

Helle needs to control his rebounds better in the next 2 periods, this is a winnable game but the Jets need to get some sort of offence going.

I am not a fan of all the borderline calls. Let the players play the game.
