Thorbs is playing because rightly or wrongly, Maurice and/or Chevy believe that he gives them the best chance of winning (playing 6 minutes a game?) and they are still in the playoff chase.

I would say that is true of almost any team or any system. If they get down by three goals by the end of the first. They have to open it up which allows more two on ones and three on ones.

That roster would like a lot nicer with Myers, Connor, Roslo, Comrie?, Poolman? and a couple free agents like a goalie and a top 4 LHD. Minus Pavs, Stu, Postma, Staf, Thorburn and someone to the expansion draft...the more I think about it, the more i hope it is MP. His contract is too much for too long for a 65 games per year player.

Just watched the goals again. No chance on the 1st or third. Deflection off of skate on 1st and screened on 3rd and puck comes off of the boards and he hasn't even seen the puck. On the 2nd you hvae a sniper like Tarasenko from 15 feet out dead center of net so ya he could have stopped the 2nd but would have been a huge save. He made a huge save point blank off of Tarasenko after he walked around Trouba and the rebound went to Lehtera? and he made another really good save. We out-goalied them. I still would have put Helle in for the Stars though.

Philips will backup Comrie on the farm and Hutchinson can go to the ECHL.

They are built to win now not tomorrow. Their team is aging fast and transitioning to a faster game is taking them quite a while. it might be rough for him but people were calling for the coaches had to hear and still are and our main reason for losing has been our goaltending.

Or maybe he doesn't let in so many goals early that they have to abandon their style of play to play catch-up for the for the rest of the game. He stands on his head for us and still doesn't get any credit whatsoever unbelievable.

I'd give Helle the start and if he is good, the next one against the Avs too. Go back to Pavs for Minny back home. Who is this Hutch you speak of?

Pavs had his best game of the year so far...I know it is a small sample size but we don't win this game without some of his big saves....kudos to Pavs....having said that, I think Helle should start next game.

Copper with the most minutes by any forward and no forward with more than 20 minutes. Ya, he had no chance on the first and third but I can't remember the 2nd to be honest....gotta re-watch...

which goals should he have stopped...I think he played his best game this year for us.
