I have been one of Buff's biggest supporters but he was close to putrid in these playoffs. He is supposed to be an elite player? He sure as hell didn't play like one. It seemed he was on the ice for a lot of goals against and didn't create any much-needed offence. Elite players lift there game and turn it up a notch, Buff didn't. Didn't come close to lifting it up a notch. If Chevy moves him, it will be before or more than likely, on draft day. I would hate to play against him but he could bring back a lot in a trade. I was very unimpressed with is playoff performance and was hoping for a LOT more. Re-sign O'Dell and Ellerby for the farm. Offer Chiarot 5m over 4 years. Postma is a question mark...re-sign him for as little as possible and start him on the farm??? Staff (3 years) , Stemp ( 2 years), and Fro (3 years) I would try to re-sign. Ladd. I would offer Buff an extension of 5 years for 28m (5.6 a year).

Pardy is plaing because of the PK...and it isn't doing that well. I wouldn't re-sign this guy unless he was ok with playing on the farm and come up in an emergency only. I would play Chiarot. Put Buff on the PK and he can clear the front of the net. Replace him on PP with Perrault. Chiarot will be re-signed. He is a really good stay at home D man and is a perfect 3rd pairing. 2nd would be his ceiling. Morrissey will probably start the year off on the farm but I expect him to be playing for the Jets around Christmas or all star break. What will happen with Ehlers? Back to Halifax? 3rd line here? How is his D game? Petan to the farm? I think I heard they are bringing him to town to show him the team and all. Good move. I can't see him as a starting center on the Jets next year. Copp probably has a better chance. edit................it is Ehlers coming to town.

Ladd hardly practised between games for a month now. I am not sticking up for him but if he is always having a maintenance day, he is playing with a hurt. He has been ineffective and maybe someone else should play on Little's left side? If they fall behind and aren't getting any chances, the coach HAS to switch up the lines.

This is what I saw. Little wears the horns on this play....if he takes his man, no goal. This is the dying seconds of a a REALLY important game and you check like a Russian???? He was on the ice to prevent a goal and failed in his task. His and Ladd's game were questionable all game. How many people want Fro re-signed for big bucks now? Buff played with a bit of an edge and rushed occasionally but I think his game could still be picked up a notch. Pavs was playing like it was the end of the season and was great. Enstrom can get pushed around but is still the best D man at passing. He isn't caught out of position often either. We're down 2-0 coming in to the first playoff game in how long? I say the Jets home ice advantage is worth more than some people think. If the Ducks don't come out with a couple of quick goals, the place will be rocking and I only wish I were going to be there. Jets win 4-2 and home ice and last change make a difference. GO JETS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had a few chances to put this game away when it was 1-0 and didn't/couldn't. Buff showed up but bad penalty on Ladd. This team is winning both games to start the third and the Ducks win both games...sad. Experience? Digging deeper? Whatever it is the Jets need to find it and win both games at home. I felt they played good enough to win this game but just couldn't pull it off and the Ducks could. GO JETS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He should get 2-3 games...not sticking up for him but it seems he turns his head while swinging...He might say I wasn't looking and didn't intentionally intend to harm but, pretty lame.

I hope Ladd's line plays against Kessler's...

I would like to see Copp make the team next year.

Or maybe he has influenced the Jets' plans by playing so well....maybe they were looking at a rental in the deal but was unsure whether they would re-sign him or not...I have a feeling he stays. I wouldn't overpay him tho.

I don't think the coach wants to break up that line of him and Scheif and Wheeler.

The Jets needto win one in the first two games if they stand a chance of winning this series. Win one and it goes 7, win both and we take them in 6.

Frolik does not deserve 4-5 and not sure if Staf does either.

I hear Francois Beauchemin will not be playing...he heard Buff is back from his suspension.

I would rather see Copp playing than Slater to be honest.

Green is an UFA and his 6m a year will be gone....otherwise, they have 6 other UFAs and 2 RFAs. They only have about 49 signed for next year. Ovechkin, Backstrom, Laich, Orpik and Niskanen account for about 32 of it!!!!!!! Maybe we can pry Backstrom out of there???????? I can dream, can't i?

I think Maurice deserves it but I think Peter Laviolette gets it and he would deserve it s well.

Maurice like Pardy on the PK so that is why I think he might sit Chiarot.

Wow, I completely forgot about Stuart, he plays for sure.... I agree with the lineup Goalie posted and I hope Maurice does, too.

When it comes to the first playoff game, which D men will play and which will sit? I would start Buff, Chiarot, Enstrom, Myers, Pardy and Trouba. I kinda think Maurice won't start Chiarot and start someone with more experience but I would start him. How was he tonight, I was at work and missed the game.

You do realize Noel started the year tho right? You do realize you come off as a dink sometimes right? You should post your meaningless stats since Maurice took over.....

I'd like to see Copp play. Maurice will sit anyone that is aching badly. I would start Hutch...hate to lose anyone to injury in a meaningless (for us) game.

I would rather see them play the Blues or Preds than the Ducks....my opinion.
