Honestly I would keep playing Pav all the way regardless. One game of rest... I don't see the value. Change as little as possible because the team is rolling and you don't want to knock them off course. If the Jets win today (please), you'll see all healthy press box players and dancing gabe in the line-up against Calgary. I think that depends on whether we have a chance at the first wild card spot...if Minny wins tonight, we don't have a chance but if we win and Minny loses, we still have a chance at the first wild card spot.

Wow, you're too funny. First you make a big post about how we should only grade Pavs by his "Maurice" days and then you make a post about Buff which includes pre-Maurice days. You know what they say about stats...

Chevy got some players that are rally helping....I'd offer Stemp a raise up to about 1.3 or so for 2 years... I'd offer Staff a contract but is he worth the 4 he is pulling in this year??? and for how long??? Tlusty has come on and is a great addition to the 4th line...that line is really playing well as of late. I dont think he is worht the 2.95 he is getting though. Myers is here for a while yet and a bargain at what he is getting paid... 5 next year and then 4, 3.5, 3. He is only 25 years old so his best days are in front of him. Chevy for GM of the year!!!!!!!!!!!

Ladd, Buff, Wheeler, Stuart, Little and I would also add Staf and Myers to a lesser degree. Maybe even Toby? A great bunch of leaders. Maurice has them playing as a TEAM, not individuals. They seem to be unselfish and only care about each other and the team. Maurice is one of the best moves Chevy has made and he should get GM of the year in my opinion.

Just to clarify, The Kings need to lose in regualtion for us to make the playoffs. If they win and we lose to the Avs in regualtion, the Flames game is huge. If we make the playoffs on Thursday and cannot make the 1st wild card spot, I would play Hutch on Saturday and also rest some people and see what Copp and others look like.

Could be plus or minus a bit. If you say 30 shots per game then it's roughly an extra goal every 3 games plus one period. I used those numbers to simplify my point, and they're based on my experience in watching hockey over the years.Edit: I just checked and for this year the highest team was the Blackhawks at 34.1 shots on goal per game. Buffalo was lowest at 24.1 shots per game. It is a difference of .008 so you would need 125 shots to make a goal. At 30 shots a game, it would be 4 games plus 10 minutes of a period...25 a game is 5 games. You need a new calculator.

Floyd, Pavs is an UFA in the 2017-2018 season. gbill2004, you can use that flag at the first home playoff game...
