Offer Slater a job in the organization and fill his spot with a younger player. Halischuk and Galiardi can be let go in my opinion. If Morrissey makes the team, I wouldn't re-sign Pardy either, unless he played for the farm team. If there were any takers, I would trade thorbs. Does Clitsome come back or does he retire?

Trouba is still learning the NHL game....give him a break. He will soon be the best D man on the team and one of the best in the league.

Hutch should get tomorrow's start regardless of the outcome although it looks like this one is in the bag. Pavs can start against the Habs and the Hawks..... he played lights out against the Stars earlier and Hutch started the next game agaisnt them so I don't think Maurice will start Hutch against the Hawks if he plays against the Nucks tomorrow but trying to guess what Maurice is going to do is like guessing the 6/49 numbers. What about Stafford???? Chevy needs to re-sign this guy!

Bure couldn't hold Teemu's jockstrap.....6 years of eligibility before he gets in the hall....wonder why....how many ti mes you thi nk Teemu will be eligible before being voted in......maybe you have him mixed up with Mogilny? Ladd had a maintenance day yesterday and is likely playing with an injury. Still enough jam in him to play 18 minute today. Also, who scored the SO winner the last game? He'll be more visible when Little returns to the lineup. They play well together. As far as Ovi goes, playing with Backstrom and only playing one side of the red line, he should be scoring upwards of 65-70 goals a game. He just stands beside the net on the PP and waits for the puck. Reminds me of Pavel Bure, another one dimensional player.

Buff is an elite D man and to suggest otherwise shows your (lack of) knowledge of hockey. Name me another Jet that can take over and control a game. He is easily worth 35 for 5 years....easily. I'd go as high as 37.5. Every team in the league would want him if they had the cap space. You guys that say Buff is a luxury are so far gone you would be called a flyer in stats. The team is better with him in the lineup...fact. Also, the next time we need a forward because of injuries, who are we gonna play without Buff. Ladd is the captain but Buff is the leader, no questions asked.

LA has the easier schedule and I think they will make the playoffs, not Minny. My opinion.

Wheeler is a year younger than buff so by your logic we better trade him too...gimme a break. Buff is the best D man and arguably the best player on the team...Maurice doesn't praise him for nothing. They will both be signed and aren't going anywhere....if we trade Ladd, who replaces him???????? He has the best eye-stick coordination on the team and gets huge goals for us. Stuart would be the first D man i would trade and yes, Chiarot is a 3rd pairing D man and cud move up in a pinch...nobody said he is Bobby Orr. Sometimes I think you post just so u can read yourself. Jets would be in third in that division behind Anaheim and Vancouver. Minny will probably win 4-5 games for the rest of the seasonand finish out of the playoffs.

Not taking anything away from capgeek or the owner's passing but there are lots of other places to find out what players are making.

They'd trade Myers loooooooong before they traded Buff, anyone that thinks otherwise is a sandwich short of a picnic. Buff was supposed to be out 4-6 weeks wasn't he?
