  2. http://video.jets.nhl.com/videocenter/ His interview is here and so is some interesting insights and opinions on players by Keith McCambridge. What he said in brief. By his comments on Armia, he probably isn't ready yet. Too inconsistent. Big upside. Kosmachuk took a while to learn the pro game but is coming around and had a good 2nd half. Poolman (looks more like a pro) and Harkins look strong. Petan, Lemieux, Petan, Comrie and Hellebuyck all looked good. Is Morrissey at the camp?
  3. Here's how the negotiations went... Hi, It's Kevin. I will give you 3.1 over two years. Phone me when you agree. Bye.
  4. They probably won't but they COULD send Ehlers to play in Europe.
  5. We saw 3 quarters of Brohm, let's see some of Marve.
  6. You don't HAVE to wait for the deadline....maybe after the gm's see what they have and what they need come mid-December or so, but really, you'll get top dollar for Buff most any time of the season. 4 years for 32m, sign here.
  7. They for sure don't need to make the decision before the season starts...he'd still bring top dollar at the deadline. If he doesn't re-sign for what Chevy wants, it is wise to trade hi as soon as possible. A 2nd liner and a 1st and 3rd sound fair.
  8. The Isles have big money in their top 3....over 15 m a year and so do Washington although they aren't spending over 6 on Greene anymore.
  9. Born in 96... Thorbs and Armia both shoot right...
  10. Ladd-Little-Perreault Stafford-Scheifele-Wheeler Ehlers-Lowry-Burmistrov Thorburn-Copp-Armia Enstrom-Myers new guy-Trouba Chiarot-Buff Morrissey Pavelec-Hutchinson-Hellebuyck We need a left shooting winger.
  11. That doesn't mean he isn't traded. Unless, of course, he has a no-trade clause...
  12. Compensaton for RFAs. $1,110,249 or below None Over $1,110,249 to $1,682,194 Third-round choice Over $1,682,194 to $3,364,391 Second-round choice Over $3,364,391 to $5,046,585 First-round and third-round choice Over $5,046,585 to $6,728,781 First-round, second-round and third-round choice Over $6,728,781 to $8,410,976 Two first-round choices, one second- and one third-round choice Over $8,410,976 Four first-round choices
  13. Fro can go eff himself, if he didn't want to be here, buh-bye. Is Burmi here to play or to be traded? 4.3 a year is a bit much as is the term for Fro but do you want to pay a guy like that for a 3rd liner? Chevy is being fiscally responsible and keeping 4.3 off the books for 5 years and replacing it with a smaller contract is wise. We're gonna need that money for Ladd and Trouba and Lowry and Buff? I'd offer Buff 8 m a year for 2 years.
  14. ya, that's what screwed me up...i had Nash and edited it to the Blues.
  15. Looks like he just signed with Nashville. oops
  16. Much rather see Stemp come back than Winnik but really glad about Staf signing.
  17. How's Buff for Simmonds and Travis Sanheim and then trade Toby for Jonathan Ericsson. Simmonds can play with Scheif or Lowry and Ericsson pairs with Trouba.
  18. Why wouldn't Buff want to play with all that talent and a good coach? If these guys had Maurice as a coach, they wouldn't miss the playoffs for the next 10 years. Deadmonton just might come up with enough scratch to satisfy Buff. I'm telling you, Buff and whatever for Hall.
  19. Kessel's owed 10, 9, 9, 7, 7, 6, 6 for the next seven years. If TO retains 2 it would be 8, 7, 7, 5, 5, 4, 4. That is cheap for Kessel, the thing is it is an 8m caphit. If TO retains 2 it would be a 6m caphit. That's not too too bad. I wouldn't give more than Armia, Comrie and a 1st.
  20. Their coach will make them better....seems they are starting to do things in the proper way. Best coach they have had in a while. The Isles and Leafs did well in the draft I thought. The Flames had a great day getting Hamilton.
  21. The consensus in Sunrise is that the Jets had the best draft, top to bottom, of any team. The Jets had Kyle Connor fall into their laps at No. 17, and Jack Roslovic was a strong pick at No. 25. Erik Foley, at No. 78, could be one of those latter round picks we marvel at some years from now. Seven forwards, and four straight Americans to start for GM Kevin Cheveldayoff. yahoo sports
