  1. If we had a chance at BLM or MR... should we at least try for it? Wouldn't that move make the team better?
  2. Anyways- I walked back the JP being a racist- he's not. But that tweet of his- totally racist. He's not dumb, so wasn't an accident. So if not racist- then race-baiting? which is worse? Sorry- I don't buy the "out of context" argument - that is a cheap out. But sure- continue to defend that tweet as not being racist, have fun with that. First off. there is no "Alt-left" it is just a childish made up moniker made up by Trump to justify the white supremacists in Charlottesville- so go ahead, keep using that too. https://www.wired.com/story/what-is-alt-left/ https://www.cnn.com/2017/08/16/politics/what-is-alt-left/index.html It's a "made-up term" used by people on the right to "suggest there is a similar movement on the left," Segal said. But there's no equivalent with the anti-Semitic and bigoted groups that call themselves "alt-right", he said. So...Sinclair takes umbrage with the tweet and is offended by it , because it is OBVIOUSLY racist and he is virtue signaling? Yeah we can disagree with that one- you can continue defending the racist tweet all you want and call out Senator Sinclair for being offended by that, that is your prerogative.
  3. Ask questions- absolutely. But your questions are disingenuous- they are not meant to promote discussion or further a scientific cause - it's always cherry-picking a small data point and discarding THE ENTIRE theory that thousands of scientists agree upon. It is a threat when people try and sow doubt and are unwitting participants of a disinformation campaign. It's like all those people that sowed doubt on cigarette smoking severely increases your chances at lung and heart disease- it's ****. So yeah- people should be scared of that, when disinformation on sound science leads us away from making good decisions from an evidence based approach. and the stakes are considerably higher now. "LOL" good discourse, good discourse. you keep it up- smug looks good on you.
  4. But that is the thing- AGW, is our watershed moment- she was just trying to draw a parallel between how the Whole of America can together and worked together after Pearl Harbour was bombed- which is true, it';s going to take everyone pulling together to combat AGW. No hyperbole there. The Pinocchios were for her statement about the 21 trillion being absorbed by pentagon spending- which is wrong. Is that what you were refering to? WHy is it unrealistic? did you even read the article link I posted? It is a well written article. But they do have that money though... you just need to shift priories. So laugh all you want- it is possible. Thanks for your nonsensical reply- always appreciate it.
  5. If you are fine with the science on the Earth being round, then why is man-made climate change such a stretch for you? I doubt it, from your posts you seem to confuse the two- often.
  6. How often do you question that the Earth is round? Do you know the difference between climate and weather?
  7. There is no way there is any "misandry" here in this thread- "Attempts to make misandry the equivalent of misogyny rely on two misconceptions: first, that gender is a spectrum as opposed to a hierarchy; and second, that victimhood is in fact a source of power and privilege." here is an interesting article- I figure you will not even bother giving it a read, but it's there anyways. https://www.independent.co.uk/voices/misandry-men-hate-crime-women-sexism-racism-feminism-a8586591.html
  8. Well, if this doesn't smack of racism for you then I don't know what to say. So you go and defend this tweet as not even a hint of racism- then you go ahead and admonish Senator Sinclair for being offended by it. dafuq man?
  9. Gotta Say- I LOVE Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez She is awesome.
  10. I think if he gets cornered... he told like a lawn chair.
  11. I loved the part where he wouldn't answer if he talked to a third party about the Mueller probe
  12. Kelly Anne Conway now? Why are you quoting a serial liar now? Anyways I don't see anything that is.... "fake news" or "alternative facts" please let me know What to look out for. I am not too familiar with Jordan's schitck. I thoughtful was a pretty funny segment. C'mon - you didn't find the airhorn in the protest students face funny? That was comedic gold. And I totally respect Jordan more, after that clip where he admits that he was wrong about the gay wedding cake. It was refreshing to watch some state an opinion... listen to what someone else has to say... and is open minded to change their stance on something.
  13. Why? he is voicing his opinion and how he was offended. Is that not his right? I fail to see that as "besmirching" his reputation. You know that Murray Sinclair is Aboriginal right...?
  14. I will go and give him a fair shake and check him out. Agreed, maybe he's not, but when you lump him in with Mark should've and Milo, and that tweet from Murray- I did jump to conclusions. That tweet though., was racist.
  15. Well that's shitty. I hope that gets tossed out.
  16. You know it's the middle of the off-season when... C'mon guys let's not devolve into rideresque behaviour. 😀😁😁
  17. That is their shtick- don't fall for it.
  18. Awesome. Looking forward to your future contributions.
  19. Thanks again for your input. Really apprwciate it man.
  20. Thank you for your contribution. That was awesome.
  21. That is exactly what you are doing. "Godwin's law (or Godwin's rule of Hitler analogies)[1][2] is an Internet adage asserting that "As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1";[2][3] that is, if an online discussion (regardless of topic or scope) goes on long enough, sooner or later someone will compare someone or something to Adolf Hitler or his deeds, the point at which effectively the discussion or thread often ends." Well done- you beat them to the punch. Who like Murray SInclair? Wow- jordan peterson, milo yiannopoulos and mark shouldice- you really should look them up before you defend them and berate those that are critical of them.
  22. People have shown you many things to the contrary- you just choose to ignore them.
