  1. Yeah- they are hit pieces. How are they all right? The first video where the IRS chairman corrects her about one aspect- the dark money. That is simply an difference in semantics. and the fact that was the only thing he took umbrage with.... well as another poster pointed out.... if 9 in 10 things said are correct- the cons latch on to that 1 single point and claim VICTORY! while ignoring the rest of the 90% which is factual... cherry picking at it's finest. There is no doublespeak or newspeak here. Truth is alive and well. Well... we'll see. she is gold for trumps base- but vilifying her in such a "scream at the camera" way does nothing to expand the GOP base.... it merely alienates the demographics they are trying to expand: the young, the educated, women and people of colour. That is a SOLID plan- buncha dumdums (the GOP not you KBF). Of course there is going to be push back.... it is a party. Comprised of a lot of different people. Everyone trying to make their point and angle for more spotlight for their constituents... yeah- that's politics. It's normal. It's expected. As for bringing out knives and all that jazz... that's quite a bit of hyperbole and has no real basis here. equating trump to Ilhan Omar is a false equivalent... if only trump was like Omar- things would be better. ??? what? I don't understand.... this your new battle cry?
  2. She's awesome- even these hit-pieces miss their mark. If that is the best they can do, she's golden. I love the way she makes the alt-right, lose their collective ****. How she deals with these people is awesome too- smacks em down: she is Micheal Garret to their Sam Heron
  3. Who said that about Chavez? What does that have to do with Warren? You honestly think 'merica is going to be like Venezuela and people are going to eat cats? Holy Hyperbole Batman... Ok- you really didn't make a clear point here, so I am going to assume you meant that if Warren is elected, 'mericans are going to be eating cats? With a Great deal of certainty- I say that you are wrong. Why on Earth does 17to85 have to live in the states to make that claim? Do you live in the states? Even if you do... that only affects your immediate location- you would still have to rely on the same means that 17to85 uses to make his comments. You have made countless cockamamie references to "them, "they" and "the people" why does your referencing them hold more validity than 17to85's? Why are you bringing in religion into what 17to85 said?
  4. You know- if she can just get past the whole Aboriginal claim she might be the Democratic party's nominee for POTUS. Considering the amount of **** that trump was able to shrug off, that one single issue should not be the reason she doesn't make it.... https://www.cnn.com/2019/02/19/politics/elizabeth-warren-wonky-professor/index.html I would love it if she became POTUS- she genuinely has the low and middle class's interests at heart. She has an incredible ability to convey complex concepts into a simpler more concise idea.
  5. Well put.
  6. Are they though? A godsend? The GOP core is old white males. they are losing touch with the fabric of the electorate which is half women, younger and increasingly non-white... So they are demonizing and alienating the very factors they are trying court... how well is that going to play out? what is crazy is that the USA is a much more liberal country then how they are represented- hence why trump lost the popular vote. its maddening to see that country have a conservative stranglehold for 2 years when they are a liberal country. If the GOP didn't have the deck considerably stacked- they would lose. It has nothing to do with a new green deal, that is just the latest scare tactic the GOP uses and it's pretty transparent.
  7. so true. so true.
  8. She is totally the GOP's new boogey Man She's a young woman, of colour with power and sensible wonderful ideas.
  9. Well this is cool. https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2018/11/30/18118158/house-democrats-anti-corruption-bill-hr-1-pelosi
  10. I respect those sentiments- I do. I felt the same way too. I think though, that the difference is that anger fueled that election and clear thought was tossed out the window. people wanted so much to throw a brick through the window of establishment, not understanding that it was their window.
  11. To be fair though... many of these people who voted for trump were fed up with the status quo- and I don't blame them. They wanted real change and thought that trump would bring that about... he brought change... just not the type that helps the middle and lower class. They (we) live in a broken system of cycling through boom and bust, where the rich get richer with bail outs and the poor get poorer with belt tightening.... It makes no sense in continuing this economy which breaks down every 8-12 years. I mean ****... would you buy a car that breaks down every 100-150 Kms? Would you continue to invest in that car?
  12. Holy **** balls! That is BANANAS! wow... Just when you think this administration can no longer shock you... amazing...
  13. You clearly didn't read that article I posted for you about the "Alt-left" did you? It was coined by trump to defend modern day nazis after the Charlottesville nazi march. So might want to ease up on that "Alt-left" stuff or people might mistake your posts as some sort of white supremacist dog whistling. Just throwing that out there and trying keep you from looking like a supporter of white supremacy. Here are some links (I hope you read them). https://www.wired.com/story/what-is-alt-left/ https://www.ajc.com/news/national/what-the-alt-left/8zSp3uA7hvEEb32l1Y357H/ https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/opinion-rochon-is-there-an-alt-left-1.4272178 https://www.vice.com/en_ca/article/vbbvbx/stop-saying-alt-left https://www.cnn.com/2017/08/16/politics/what-is-alt-left/index.html and, I am not sure what you are referencing to in regards to "1984".
  14. Wow... That was... a little kooky.
  15. I think we should go easy- no fair for everyone to gang up on him- there must be a reason he's wiggin' out like this.
  16. This reminds me of the time grandpa forgot to take his meds and sat infront of fox news all day.
  17. Jesus... what the **** is wrong with you? why would you defend that ****? You're going full Lyle E. Style here. You never to go full Lyle.

  19. Heh- too true.
  20. Was thinking the same thing.
  21. Dude's as evil as he looks.
